When the Alpha Howls

When the Alpha Howls

Then I gently lifted the bird, supporting its body and wings, and placed it on a folded towel over warmth. The bird shivered, then stilled. “Do you… do this often?” I asked as I pulled on gloves. He shrugged once. “Enough.” That answer should’ve been simple, but it wasn’t. It was clear he had more than a few clumsy rescues. I grabbed a penlight and checked the bird’s eyes, then its mouth for bleeding. No obvious head trauma. Breathing shallow but steady. Then I palpated the wing carefully. The bone shifted under my touch, fracture, mid wing. Possibly a dislocation too. The bird flinched weakly.

Loving The Mad King

Loving The Mad King

She was surprised when she didn't find any wounds, until she finally saw the foam on the bird's beak. "It's poisoned," said Rion and Odette nodded in agreement. "We have to help it. Anwen brought an antidote in the bag, hopefully we can help it," said Odette. She then walked towards the cave, and Rion followed her. In the cave, they worked together to make the red bird drink the antidote in the bottle. Because the bird wouldn't open its beak. Rion was forced to open the bird's beak forcefully. The Crowolf. When Love Crosses Species.

The Crowolf. When Love Crosses Species.

The noise of hundreds of wings made it difficult for Crave to make out what Michael was saying. “Quickly! Something happened there! Maybe she’s in danger!” “So we are.” Crave smiled a bit showing his strong fangs. A few dozen of jumps later they reached this place - the epicentre of the black, standing-still tornado. The birds' wings beat them on their faces, chests and all over their bodies. They could barely see each other, dark feathers obscured everything around them. Soon tiny cuts appeared on the werewolves’ bodies - the birds’ feathers cut them like razor blades, from their heads to toes.

Lycans of Lunar Isle

Lycans of Lunar Isle

Their stench alone was nauseating, something like spoiled meat and old blood. Ryker’s hands shot out, palms facing the oncoming swarm. The air shimmered and warped just as the birds descended in a frenzied attack. They slammed into the invisible barrier arcing over us. Their bodies crunched from the force of their impact. Bones shattered; decomposed flesh pelted the street, but the birds kept coming.

What can I say? Jane Doe has done it again! A beautiful compelling suspenseful romantasy with all the things I love! It’s not even completed but I can’t wait for more! Dark mysterious alluring witch/werewolves with sexy compelling characters that draw you in and make you drool!

I’ve read lots of supernatural books but this one is the best I’ve read! It’s got little bit of everything, it deserves way more recognition than it has gotten. Jane out did herself with these last two new books . Extremely talented writer. Give this book a shot you won’t regret it.

Demon: Supernatural Bad Boys V

Demon: Supernatural Bad Boys V

I was devastated. Wanting to comfort it as it lay dying, I sang it a song. I don’t remember what song it was. But something happened during my song. I could feel some kind of power resonate with every lyric. Then, as if by magic, the bird’s wing healed, and its neck straightened out. I remember the bird sitting up and giving me a regal bow before it took off in flight. It was the most wondrous and unbelievable experience that I’ve ever had.

Slowly reading through the series and this has to be one of my favourites so far! Such a great book, the story is engaging and well written, I love that it introduces less written about supernatural species, it just adds to the story. Thoroughly enjoyed it and totally recommend this book!

The Tired Bird Rests

She forced herself to stay calm. At last, the people around them began to move. Sienna seized her chance and ran toward the exit. But the plane was still falling. Boom! A deafening crash split the air. The force of the impact sent Sienna and Riley flying to the ground. Pain ripped through her body. When Sienna opened her eyes, she saw jagged pieces of the wing that had impaled itself deep into her and Riley’s lower legs. “Riley!” Through the ringing in her ears, she heard Zayden’s voice.

Wolfsbane: His darkness, Her Light

Wolfsbane: His darkness, Her Light

I panicked, realizing what it was, and that Finn wasn’t going to be able to kill it. “Finn” I screamed. “It can’t be killed like that!” The creature swooped low narrowly missing Finn with its talons. Finn leapt up, his teeth lodged into the creature’s leg, and it roared. His wolf’s claws raked its body trying to pull it to the ground as the creature’s wings flapped madly, trying to ascend again. Its head snapped towards me, catching my scent and it launched in my direction, desperately trying to escape Finn’s assault. He grabbed one of its wings, snapping it in his jaws and the creature screeched in agony. It slashed out with its talons and raked Finns side. He roared as his blood showered t

Alpha Prince and the Lost Deity

Alpha Prince and the Lost Deity

I screamed louder and the bird screeched and I sobbed. The bird lowered itself and it almost dropped me again because something hit its back. I looked up and saw a rock fall down to the ground that hit the bird. It shrieks loudly and I can feel its sharp claws pierce my back. "FUCK!" I screamed in pain as blood dripped from my back. Another massive rock hit the bird again and this time, I started falling. "AHHH!!!" I can't help but just scream at the top of my lungs because of how things are turning out. I'm going to fall and my head will probably split open from the impact!
