Dragon-kissed

Dragon-kissed

The towering firebird bent down its head to hook with its beak the ring of keys hanging from the warden’s belt. The warden cried out in pain as his belt and the fabric of his trousers burned. The top of his trousers disintegrated in an instant and they fell down to around his ankles, exposing his linen drawers. As embarrassed as he was, the warden couldn’t pull his trousers up before he fainted from both fear and the extreme heat. The red bird lifted its head with the key ring in its proboscis-like beak. The metal sizzled and blackened at its fiery touch but it held. The bird didn’t lose a beat and rounded the corner to the cell block.

Sheep in Wolf's Clothing

Sheep in Wolf's Clothing

I got prepared as it came. It made to pick me up from the floor, but I ducked; its claws landed on a rock and crushed the rock. I ran sideways as it tried to pick me up again. I had no weapon, and the only thing I could do to survive was to dodge. The next time it tried to pick me up, I escaped and bashed my head on a rock. I yelped, and the bird's claws gripped me, but I was dropped again when MOLART hit its leg with his sledgehammer. It flapped its heavy wings, but MOLART was experienced. He rolled on one of its wings and climbed atop the bird. The bird shrieked as he hit the back of her head with the sledgehammer. My eyes darted around for a weapon while MOLART and the bird staggered. The

If I'm being completely honest, I would probably be far worse in my grammar as a native English speaker, so showing some grace & respect is of the utmost importance as Jennifer works hard to bring Laika and Karim to life for the reader. I hope she continues with many more stories or spin-offs.

This author writes so well and keeps me keeps me totally hooked. I can’t wait till the next update every chapter I read. If this book was already completed, I would read it thru in a couple days and not get anything else done except to just totally enjoy the story she has created. Love it!

Are you one of those boys that parents tell their daughters to stay away from? This time it's not an arm wound, a head wound rather it's an abdominal wound. It looks deep and painful. You close your eyes in pain as you let the alcohol sink in to wash off the cut, avoiding infections as well. How come you are so good at dressing yourself, l know YouTube can teach one everything but the way you do it looks like someone who knows it very well.

The Luna's Second Chance

The Luna's Second Chance

Taking a closer look, I realize it's a phoenix. I had always thought they existed only in myths but it seems they're indeed real. The bird meets eyes with me and screeches in pain, as if calling for help. I quickly pick it up and discover that it's wounded. There's an arrow sticking out of its chest and the area seems to be burning up fast. I have to do something. I rush back to where my duffle bag is with the bird still in my arms. It continuously screeches in pain and I set it down gently.

Mated to the Night Wolf

Mated to the Night Wolf

The Maze. I gulped as the bird shivered, beady eyes watching me. "D-don't worry. I'll fix you.. but you cannot tell anyone. I promised AMA-" I paused, shaking my head. I do not know why I was talking to a bird. Studying its peculiar eyes for a bit, I took a long deep breath in, blowing softly on the wound. My breath grazed the feathers, then the open wound softly. I watched as the wound healed up in a matter of seconds, bones and flesh reforming.

Well worth the wait! Your 55 chapters are more like 250 chapters of other authors. Your chapters are long, detailed and fully packed with more intrigue. The guard? I’m team Kayos, but it’s so beautiful how tender the guard was with her to let her know he will honor her…but I think there’s more.

This book is so good. I love the writing, the characters, the story and the execution. Perfection at its core but I have a problem, please could you release a chapter at least once a week. It’s not fair because I’m basically hooked on this book and I don’t get regular updates.

No. 1 Supreme Warrior

No. 1 Supreme Warrior

It was already so heavily injured that it only knew how to cry out in pain! "That's right. After it fell from the skies, it kept on struggling on the ground. If they did not have wings that restricted its movements, it might have been rolling all over!" "It looks like it must have been hurting. Was it really a soul injury?" "Do you even need to ask? Of course, it's a soul injury. If it was a physical one, none of us are too blind to see the wound. There are so many people here, no one saw any wounds at all. They only saw the bird falling from the sky!

Death Wish : Dead Kiss

Death Wish : Dead Kiss

Pawn Clara gently caressed the bird's wings and wanted to talk to him, to which he made a loud noise as if answering her words. With one blow, she separated the piece of wood from his wing, due to which blood immediately gushed out, and some splashes fell on the ground. "It will not hurt to fly now," Pawn Clara said fondly while caressing him. She knew that he would get injured. She didn't want him to suffer. She took a deep breath and released a soft whistle. The bird flew a little high with his bleeding wing. A tear rolled down her cheek. She felt horrible knowing it had hurt like that for her little friend.

The Last Dragon’s Enslaved Lycan Mate

The Last Dragon’s Enslaved Lycan Mate

But the beauty of the day was marred by the storm brewing within her heart, casting dark clouds over her thoughts and unleashing thunderstorms of emotions. She sat along the bank, idly skipping rocks, when a flicker of movement near the waters caught her eye. Intrigued, she decided to take a closer look and was delighted to discover a cute little hummingbird wrestling in the weeds. Without hesitation, she gently scooped the bird up in her hands, her heart melting at the sight of its injured wing. "What happened to you, little bird?" She whispered, her voice filled with empathy as she caressed the wounded wing with tender care.

Self-love
I saw people saying this book is similar to "The Alpha King Hated Slave." I initially read it because of that because I love that book. However, as an Author myself, after reading more, I realized they are different in many aspects. I love this books and highly recommend this Book. Well done Author.
