"Something wrong?” Ren shook his head once. “Call the enforcers. Quietly.” Ajax's eyes only sharpened. “Now?” “Yes.” “And the pack?” “They keep moving,” Ren said. “No questions.” Ajex nodded and turned away. Ren stared back out over the park. Wolves still sparred, laughed, and still lived like the ground beneath them wasn’t already cracking. He wondered how many of them still believed Darius was the kind of Alpha worth defending, how many would hesitate if asked to choose.

My cheeks reddened in embarrassment, and I dared not defend myself. "Actually, I am here to warn you. Tell me, how much do you need to move away from here and stay away from my son? Mark isn't your mate because you don't have a wolf, and I am sure you're both are fụcking each other. So tell me how much you need to keep your distance away from Mark, unless you want to be his mistress, because my son will not marry a wolfless Omega like you," Mr. Wren snarled, and my heart ached painfully at his blunt words.

Wren had groceries delivered, so the scent must belong to the person who delivered them. Suddenly, I hear vicious growling and aggressive noises coming from the den. The door is open. What I find in the den is nothing to what I expected to find when I got home. One, Wren is in fucking wolf form. Crimson is a beautiful red wolf.
