100 Doors: Die Fabulously for the Audience

100 Doors: Die Fabulously for the Audience

Willa sprinted into the elevator, her eyes widening with fear and her fingers clutching her bag firmly for support. As a horror writer, one would think she was accustomed to such surroundings and may have even enjoyed them, but that was far from the truth. Willa hated everything about ghosts and haunted houses, and even the sight of too much blood drove her insane. The horror genre felt like a gift; she was so good at it and had written over thirty bestselling novels, but in reality, her fears had been portrayed in every character she created. As the elevator dinged, she sighed in relief and rushed out. She quickly searched her bag for her key, but as her hand touched the doorknob, the door

House of Horrors Part 1

House of Horrors Part 1

They approached the apartment door cautiously, then slowly stepped out, partially closing the broken door behind them, leaving a small gap through which the dim light of the entrance filtered in, as if the apartment itself had refused to close completely, guarding its dark secrets, waiting for the next intruder to venture into the depths of the shadows. The air escaping from the apartment was heavy and thick with the scent of ancient horror and blood, and the long-standing silence. Every step they took on the rough hallway floor resonated like the pulse of another world, a world hidden within walls and shadows, watching them with the cunning of the patient, testing their fear, gauging their

Iridian

I stayed with Adley in her small living room, watching horror movies about creatures that didn’t exist in this world, until darkness smothered the outside world, peeking in through the sheer curtains that made their living room feel all too exposed. “Zombies always give me the creeps.” Adley shuddered, “There’s something so scary about coming back from the dead, having your face and limbs rot like that. Bleh, no thank you.” “I can’t be afraid of zombies, not when things like ghouls and Librarian’s exist.” I let out a hearty laugh, trying to imagine a hoard of zombies maneuvering through the forest at night.

Such a well written book and the story really drags you in, I’ve enjoyed reading this so much and hope a sequel comes out. I really feel this book should be printed, I’d read it over and over again. The book is long but it’s well worth it.
Therese Dahlqvist
The author has a fantastic ability to keep me on the edge of my seat and a great ability to describe the scenery around the characters. I find the characters to be mostly well defined and consistent throughout the book. There are some typos and incorrect grammar, but not enough to disturb me complet

The Queen And The Freak

The Queen And The Freak

I asked her curiously as I sat comfortably on her couch and the three of them sat on the big one adjacent to mine. "Well, I believe that there's nothing to be scared of. The ghosts, vampires, witches, and werewolves are just in the books. Right? Fiction. Not real." My oblivious girlfriend explained, and that made the three of us, supermarket beings, look at each other. If you just knew, Pryce. None of us here is purely human. "Uh, yeah, yeah. They're just in the books. Horror books. They are a product of one's creative minds… and to scare people." Sander agreed with her best friend. Now, I really don't know how we will tell Pryce about the whole truth.

Tales of a vampire

Tales of a vampire

Dexter said while he collected his portion excitedly from me "Disgusting, how do you guys drink human blood, without feeling irritated? Jessy asked turning her face away while we consumed our most precious "Seriously? This is our main feed, vampires of the old world can't do without it, they usually fight with Elves and Sphinx just to drain their blood, cause they can't resist the urge unlike us, some even die in the process, it gives us more strength, when we drink blood, we can last 3-4 days straight without food & water" Tessy replied while she drank hers' We all finished our blood consumption, then we thought about the departure of Linx, as we don't know his whereabout, dark cloud had co

Fated to love only you Alpha

Fated to love only you Alpha

There is just something about the dark that is so scary. I might be a werewolf but those ghost stories do scare the hell out of me. I kept imagining seeing things as we walked through the forest. A tree that looked like a giant person, a short person with a big head and no eyes. ‘Ahhhhh, what in the world is wrong with you? You are supposed to be the strongest, bravest she-wolf but here you are being afraid of ghosts,' my wolf said and I chuckled. I did that to wake her up, she had been too quiet for my liking.

A Werewolf or A Vampire

A Werewolf or A Vampire

THAT HAUNTED HOUSE After covering all the way of the road, the car was now passing through a desolate place. Not even a single bird could be seen flying over there in the sky and not even an ant could be found that way. Xander stopped the car in front of a haunted house. Since it was cloudy, windy and raining at night. Only a lone lamp was there outside the house, casting a din, yellow light on the scary and faded features of the house. At an irregular interval, the house used to get illuminated from the lightning in the sky. He got down from the car and stood in front of the house, once again checking his pocket for the bottle.

My Vampire Professor

My Vampire Professor

But was he strong enough to dent two motorcycles with only his hands? I felt like this research was starting to drive me crazy. I could hardly wrap my mind around all the stories I’ve been reading. Most of the pictures were similar to one another with the same wounds on their necks and pale white as the clouds. It was like whoever had done this had drained these people of every last drop of blood. Opening a new document, I began writing a new short story. A story about a charming vampire seducing a young girl. In the end, the girl becomes a vampire and began “hunting” in the city with the male protagonist.

Not Your Luna

Not Your Luna

Horror struck me like lightning, and I knew then that my worst fears had come true - my old pack and family had been brutally wiped out. “Hallie get back here now.” Hugh ordered me as he and Alpha Arnie chased after me, attempting to calm me down, but it was too late. I was already consumed by a need to uncover the truth. Ignoring their calls, I sprinted onward, disappearing into the maze of corridors within Moonstone Manor. Each corner I turned revealed more and more lifeless bodies, my heart breaking with every sight. The hallways felt suffocating, as though every step I took was leading me deeper into a twisted nightmare.

Haunter

* The story is told from a single POV, and it doesn't change over the whole book. A trivia bit that blew me away: I picked the setting rather randomly, and later on, I found out I set my ghost story a stone-throw away from where Lovecraft set The Dunwich Horror and The Color Out of Space. Those coincidences I love about writing. Okay, enough gibberish. I'm just gonna breathe deep and hope for the best. Please let me know what you think with a rating, share and consider giving the story some gems! Any and all feedback is much appreciated!
