Today was the day Xander died. I bashed his head once, then twice, then on the third time, I felt a hard blow like a hammer slamming into my side. I was sent reeling by the pain to the floor. In my peripheral vision, I saw someone drag Xander’s limp body away. I looked up and came face to face with a young woman. I recognized this one. This was Sophia, Sophia’s best friend, brother to Xander. She was dragon blood too.

I felt exhausted, but reminded myself that this is just the tip of an iceberg in my revenge journey. I woke up with a throbbing headache, still reeling from the drama of the previous night. I find them confusing but it doesn't stop my tirade. "I took nothing wrong. I felt how your body stiffened when he wanted to know where I was from. I saw the panicked look on your face when you couldn't answer." I yell as I step closer.

“I’m a magic wielder,” I stated with certainty. Xander looked perplexed. He knew that in our world, there were only three types of beings: shifters, wielders, and humans. I was a wielder, plain and simple. Despite his confusion, Xander went to the bathroom to examine the bite mark on his shoulder once again. “We need to investigate this further. I’ve never heard of anything like this happening,” he said, his voice serious. “Was your mother a wielder as well?”
