A voice said, it had the same bass as the one that had just killed but it was a lot more authoritative. “That scent…” The blood-soaked vampire thought to itself, the man that had just spoken was a fellow vampire like him but this scent felt familiar. Stepping into the moonlight from the shadows, what came into light was a blonde-haired vampire with crimson-red eyes and a very attractive face. “I know you!” The vampire that killed Ethan blurted out but his calm expression was broken into one of fear.

A commanding voice that pushed me to stop and do whatever the hell he wanted. Voice of a primal wolf. I've only heard about them in stories. “You don't tell me what to do," Zephyr said, but his hand dropped from my face instantly, “and drop that shit Xander. It isn't cool.” The other…Xander, sauntered into the room, his face cold, emotionless as he stared at me. He looked a little similar to the one standing beside me except his hair was shorter and darker and didn't have that glow, he was bigger and his eyes sharper.

Before I can even comprehend it, I see Xander stumbling to the ground, his wolf form changing back into his human one. "Xander!" With my heart thumping in my chest, I dash over. He is injured. His face is pallid and a deep wound on his side is dripping blood, but he still manages to smile weakly at me. His voice is strained as he says, "It's just a scratch." I crouch next to him and apply pressure to the cut to halt the bleeding, my hands shaking. "You call this a scratch?" My voice is worried as I yell. “I've seen worse." He says, smirkingly

It is Xander. He is the king of Lycans. One of the most powerful men in the world. He ended lives with just a flick of his wrist. He was known for being ruthless. But this same man had smiled and told me I did a good job when I destroyed his room. Then he renovated it. He pops up in his room randomly, which he pretty much gave up for me, just to check up on me. And so far, he hasn’t done anything I didn’t like.

"So, is he the one who takes care of the blood for the vampires, too?" Xander nodded, but his smile faded. "No. There's another vampire who takes care of the blood deliveries." He shrugged. "We're not involved in the vampires' personal affairs." I nodded, realizing I had a lot to learn about interpersonal affairs between the species. "So, is there a handbook or something so I can learn all of this?" Xander chuckled. "No, but don't worry. You'll learn it all in no time. In fact, you'll be able to learn it from Bailey. She's been with us for a long time."

I had no idea I was being watched or snapped by my brother, I don’t even know why my head was cut off in these pictures, making me look horrible. I guess he has always known that he would have to kill me someday. It was only a matter of time before he came for me. I was like a prey that is allowed to fool around for a while before I’m taken down. Xander’s presence in my life only made him hasten his plans and he decided to take me out before I could get away. Because he couldn’t sleep, it affected him terribly and turned him into a freaking monster. He attacked anyone who dared to say or do anything to provoke him. He kills and maims at the slightest provocation, putting terror in the minds

I mentally scream as I forcefully tear my eyes open , last night event hitting me like a train on a track. My mouth fell open at the view in front of me. The room is so magnificent. I giggle bouncing on the king size bed I slept on last night. "Ouch." I cry when another wave of pain hit my head. Xavier really brought me to his house, so unbelievable. Maybe he isn't such a bad person after all. Just kidding. He is a big bully.
