It was a sad reality. In the end I got up from the couch and slowly made my way to the piano at the center of the room. As I took a seat in front of the piano, notes were swirling in my head. Just when I end the first chorus, a low, oddly familiar voice jolts me from behind; “Still as stubborn as ever, I see.”
