Your Mate Novels & Stories

he whispered loud enough for me to hear him. "Who told you that?" I enquired shocked. **Flashback** "You did..." "...Check mate means game over in the game but check mate in real life means your life has come to an end. My end is coming soon and I have a lot of debts I need to repay. Life is tough, but you have a talent, one that can lift you up and into the life of luxury." I laughed to myself, "Daniel, let me explain something to you." I looked up and saw my feathery friend approaching, I raised my left hand which was protected by a raptor glove offering a spot for landing.

He found his mate. "Your mate" I say He just nods his head "What happened? " "I went for a run when the most intoxicating scent hit me, I searched for it Athena and I couldn't find it, I looked everywhere it's like it just disappeared" he sighed " It's ok, she has to be around here then" "What if she's not what if i'm just deserperate that anything that smells intoxicating to me I think it's my mate" I look at home with sad eyes and grab a hold of his cheek

, I thought. Not long after he entered the room, I immediately got a mind link from my mate. "Where are you ?" She asked. "Babe, I went for a quick run," I replied. But why is the mate bond so weak, " Did you leave the pack lands" she asked. Forgetting of how a great distance between you and your mates can cause the mate bond to be weak. I was out of excuses. I could not say that I went to run outside the pack lands, neither could I say I went to the seer house.

I bite my lip and try to think of the perfect mate. "She is special if she puts up with you". Brian laughs and Liam joins him. My best friends are so immature. Smiling in satisfaction I lay my head back and think of my mate.

For all I know, she is the only person he has ever loved like this. "Laugh while you can, Logan. You are still single. When you meet that female that will make you get out of the clothes you have already put on to put on what she insists will look best on you, you will stop giving a damn. That is the power of a mate," he assures me. "First of all, I am no longer a single wolf. I found my mate and she is too stubborn to even mind what I put on," I tell him. His jaw drops to the floor. I can't help but laugh at him.

“I thought I was gonna lose you and that scared me shitless.” She smiled. "So you cried?" Yeah, story of my life. “When you get well, you're coming home with me,” I said, watching her keenly to see her reaction. I hope it won't be a blatant disapproval. My poor heart won't be able to take it. “Home?” “My Pack. My house…” I paused. “...my mate.” She stared blankly at me and her smile faded. “I don't understand…” “I wanna officially make you my mate…”

“Some people really are lucky! That pregnant lady who just came in? Barely had a stomach cramp, and her beta mate was freaking out, ready to call the entire pack of healers. “Unlike this one. Nearly died from an allergic reaction, and her mate didn’t even show up. Might as well be dead…” I thought I could hold back all the bitterness until the day I left. However, at that moment, my grief crashed down on me. Loneliness flooded in and crashed on me like a tidal wave. Of course, my mate had died. He died on the battlefield three months ago, the moment he chose to live under his brother’s name. I buried my face in the blanket and let the tears soak my pillow in silence. The day I was discharged

Suddenly, I recalled hearing some news some time ago about the death of Asher's mate. After about five seconds, I snapped out of the thoughts that had gotten me busy: "Who's Alpha Asher's mate?" I asked, "The last time I remember, they said Alpha Asher's mate died one time like that," I said, my tone ringing with curiosity as I tried to wrap my head around the exact year I heard it.

he said nodding at me. "Lets get this done with." I said walking past him when he stopped me. "You will find your mate. Don't worry." he said encouraging me. "I better or else we are doomed. We need a strong and smart Luna if we are going to win the upcoming war." I said nonchalantly. "Look, a mate is not just for the pack. You need her too." he said sighing. I just rolled my eyes. A mate just makes you weak. That's what happened to my parents. After my father died, my mum became weak and she is all by herself, locked herself up in the far east wing, all to herself.

My mate whose name i still don’t know. My mate who I’ve only seen one and now sent into heat. “What do you think you’re doing? Trying to sacrifice our mate for this?” I had cut off the mind block unconsciously. “I don’t care what it is you’re doing but it shouldn’t affect our mate. You might not be looking forward to having our mate in our lives but I have. I’ve looked forward till the day she joins us and becomes our mate. Now that we’ve finally found her you plan on making her a sacrificial lamb just for what?”
