Zack replied with his eyes on the ground in remorse. "I'm sorry," Zack said again his whisper barely audible. And then her right hand made contact with his cheek the exact moment the professor entered the room. The whole room fell dead silent eyeing Zack and his once former arm candy. "Is there a problem Mr. Frederickson?" The professor asked. Zack's eyes scurried towards a sobbing Chelsea darting to her seat and mumbled a no to the professor. I looked at Reeva and Mandy. They both had the same expression as I was confused, shocked, and sad.

The silence that followed was heavy, charged with everything that had been left unsaid between us. I took a few steps toward the stairs, eager to put some distance between us, but Zack’s voice stopped me in my tracks. “Sara,” he called softly, his voice cracking. “Please… don’t shut me out.” I turned around slowly, ready to offer a guarded response, but the sight of Zack stopped me in my tracks. His usually composed demeanor was shattered, tears streaming down his face, leaving him vulnerable in a way I’d never seen before. My heart clenched at the sight, and all the anger, hurt, and confusion I’d been holding onto suddenly felt insignificant in the face of his pain.

The scars on my body were evidence of this. “Abby and I… We would take back everything if we could. You never deserved what happened to you.” A defeated look takes over Zack as he slumps in his seat, a look of guilt and remorse on his face as unshed tears fill his eyes. Thankfully, my friends stay silent, providing me with their presence as support as I deal with my brother. Dominic’s hand reaches over to take mine, giving it a reassuring squeeze.

His heart drop when he saw that other was crying and the cold sweat on his face was like he just took shower. "Let me call Erica. Is it okay? You want to see her?" Zack asked brunette but the other didn't even nodded. On the other hand, Jonathan was standing there in a daze. He was unable to understand what was happening. Did I do this? He asked himself for the nth time. He was far sober then the condition he entered in this room. Zack tried alot but younger was not even a bit close of relaxing. He left to call Erica.

I look up at the two of them with pleading eyes as I feel my bottom lip begin to quiver. "Please, please I'm sorry! I didn't mean for any of this to happen. Please you have to believe me!" I cry out, feeling fat tears roll down the side of my cheeks. Jack crouches down to my level before slapping me across the face with an insane amount of force. My entire body shifts to the side due to his strength, having me cry out even louder upon impact. "God I hate liars." Zac's dark and callous voice seeps as he looks down at me with a murderous expression.

"What happened out there? Who was that guy? And why was he trying to kill you?" Ivy looked away, a single tear flowing down her cheek as she buried her face in her palms. "This is too much for me to handle... I... I don't even understand," she mumbled, her voice cracking with emotion. Zack's expression softened, and he reached out to gently pull her into a hug. "I'm here for you, Ivy," he whispered, his voice warm and comforting. Ivy's tears flowed freely as she clung to Zack, feeling a sense of safety and security in his arms. But what was tugging at her mind relentlessly were the fragments of claims that she refused to believe as the truth.

he poured more whiskey into his glass and took a mouthful of it. "ok darling, I will call you later, take care," Terry said then hung up. "Zack, you know doing this won't help you. just be a strong man" Terry said as he patted Zack on the back. "you know it's funny to see the baddest man on planet Earth cry like a child. your enemies probably wouldn't believe their eyes" Terry said mockingly. Zack ignored and acted like he didn't hear anything.

Dinner continued, words flowing over the table, it felt lovely. **** Cilia stared into the mirror, scrubbing at her top. No matter how hard she rubbed, the stain wouldn’t budge. After several failed attempts, frustration welled up until it spilled over—hot tears streaming down her cheeks. She tried to stop, but the sobs kept coming. A voice broke through her misery. “I come here to cry sometimes too,” Zack said. Cilia rolled her eyes, quickly swiping away the tears. She crumpled the damp paper in her hand and tossed it into the trash, then turned toward the door, ready to work out.

I released a breath I did not know I had been holding. Because of the drugs, and the way Zack had found me, I truly had no recollection of that time. I needed to hear that, so I could start to move on from everything. Without realizing it, tears had been rolling down my cheeks, and I was in Zack’s arms. He wiped my tears, “Don’t cry, baby. You are safe now,” Zack said to me.

Well, there go the tears. It took him a minute to realize what I was saying. Then, finally, he sighed, and without saying anything, he hugged me. "I’m so sorry, Zira," he whispered into my hair. I was shocked. I thought he would be happy his sister found her mate, but here he was apologizing to me, and he meant it. So many emotions were stirring in me that I instantly threw up right in front of him. "Goddess, Zira, you need help. Please let me take you back," Zack said, pulling us away from the mess.
