He clenched his fist and looked helplessly at Jayson, tears swirling in his eyes, dripping down silently, but stubbornly refusing to make a sound of crying. Jayson immediately walked over and gently touched his face, saying, "Don't cry..." Zack was deeply hurt by Owen's hurtful words. He clenched his lips tightly, staring at him with red eyes. He sadly rubbed his eye sockets, eyes, and nose with his arm. They were all red. Choking back tears, he said, "I'm sorry..."

"I'm off to make the pledge, and then I'll be with Nancy at the edge of the Northwood tundra, by Moonshadow Lake.

After hearing this, I couldn’t look at him. "Tay, I'm fucking sorry." He said, those gorgeous hazel eyes of his full of regret. I shook my head, unable to look him in the eye. It was crushing, dammit this hurt. "Tay!" He grabbed my arm when I reached the door, those damn sparks coursing through us both. Our hearts raced, but I couldn’t do this, not right now. "Let go of me, Zack." I said, shoving him off. Even that hurt. I left the room, just needing some damn space.

Zoe said, I'm sure trying to hold back her tears. "What gives Jess, you made Ace cry." Jack joked receiving the death glare from Ace. "I said shut up idiot." Ace said grinding his teeth before returning his attention to me. "Jess, are you okay? What happened" He continued. I was so emotional at this point I didn't know when I started crying along side everyone. "Welcome back kid." Tyler said standing beside my bed, I looked at him crying harder realizing he was the only one I didn't see during the whole trial.

*** Zak *** "What the fuck? What's wrong with my kid?" I had jumped out the bed running at her first scream. In her crib she was standing holding onto the bars with big fat tears rolling down her face. The only light was the little nightlight I'd left on and the moonlight that came through the window.
