We sat on a vacant table and I swear to God, that guy was still staring at me. “Who is that guy?” I asked Jackie. “Who?” “That one? With the red hoodie. Blue eyes and blonde.” Jackie did not waste her time to look fr the guy I asked her about. She sat wide eyed and excited. “Girl, that is Zayn. Zayn Randolf. He is at Blake’s team too. Why? Then she turned to a guard, "Burn her." We all walked out of the dungeon as Alpha Blaze asked, "Your last name is Bazin?" She replied, "Yeah. Why?" He thought out loud, "I don't know why I didn’t put it all together before. Seeing the way you fight reminded me." Zayna asked, "Why?" He smiled, "I think my new Beta might be a family member of yours." She asked, "What is his name?" Alpha Blaze answered, "Her name is Ashley Bazin." Zayna smiled, "That's my cousin. I barely remember her anymore. They moved to another pack when I was very young. I do remember being very close with her back then. You said she's your new Beta?" He nodded, "She is. She was my Gamma, because she's a badass in battle.

Zayn lost control and accidentally let out a sputtering laugh. Who would have known that Blaze Hunt would be so invested into pretending to be cool? Gosh, ‘Fame is just a puff of smoke’? How hip, original and trendy he was! Zayn did not need to do the research to know that Blaze was a hack whose biggest motivation was fame and fortune. Anyone who disregarded their integrity and took part in a scam, as Blaze was doing with Nathan at the moment, automatically lost his respect.

He says eventually, noises behind him reveal the blonde girl that Flame was arguing with earlier. “Oh please be Darius’ friend.” She grins, pushing the boy out of the way and extending her hand. “I’m Gale.
