“Will you take my blood?” Zuba never said anything. She looked into his eyes, and grabbing his chest forcefully, she plunged her fangs gently right into his flesh. “The other one is for love”, she said as she looked the other way. She gave her back to him. She looked away for a moment to wipe away her tears. “And the other one?” he asked She then turned around, facing him again, “The curse of a witch is broken”, she replied. “From now on you will shape shift at will without waiting for the tree days of the full moon”.

Before she realized what was happening, the zombie sank those newly formed fangs into Kendra’s forearm. Screaming from shock, fear, and pain, she struggled to free her arm. Taken by surprise, Rex wrestled for a few seconds to gather his wits. When he did, he wasted no time in leaping forward and driving his blade into the zombie’s temple. With its powerful fangs embedded into Kendra’s arm, when it slumped to the ground, the abomination took his wife down with it. “My arm,” Kendra wailed as she fell to her knees. “Those fangs are stuck in my arm. I think they’re in the bone!”

Their eyes were empty, unfocused, and they were both wearing a strange, hollow smile. The rescue team leader stepped forward. "Mr. Sands? Mrs. Sands?" Dad suddenly clutched the tin of spam against his chest and shrank backward, his eyes wide. "Shh. Be quiet," he whispered, his voice shaking. "There are zombies out there. Going outside means death. "This is the last of our food. We have to ration it. We have to make it last." Mom nodded along beside him, completely serious. "One less mouth to feed. You'll get to live a few more days."

Under their reprimands, I walked into the operating room without hesitation. Anesthesia was injected into my body. I could clearly feel the cold blade of the scalpel cutting through me. At the same time, the system's final countdown echoed in my ears. "Five… four… three… two… one…" "Host erasure complete." In my next life, I never want to meet them again.

“Fall back! Everybody fall back!” Rachel and Timothy turned, their eyes widening as a young zombie—a girl in a tattered engineering lab uniform—slipped through the chaos. She lunged at a soldier, dragging him to the ground as he screamed. Her teeth sank into his neck, the sickening sound of flesh tearing audible even over the gunfire. Timothy kept filming, unable to look away. The soldier’s comrades shot the girl, but it was too late. The man convulsed, his body twitching unnaturally before his eyes snapped open. Clouded and lifeless, he rose—a zombie now.

"How stupid can you be? Do you think I'd ever trust you? Go ahead and open the case. There's a surprise inside." With trembling hands, Clara opened the case she had guarded so desperately. Inside it was a chunk of rotting meat that was soaked through with an extract that would lure zombies. Smiling softly, I said, "That's why you ran into zombies on the safest route." Clara began to tremble violently. Her mouth moved as she tried to say something. But in the next second, the zombies lunged at her again. They had their fill, so they took their time to savor her bit by bit.

“Let them watch.” He shook his head like I was a lost cause—fair—and then he turned, boots echoing sharply as he walked away, vanishing into the metal gloom. I stepped into my bunk and leaned my back against it, eyes shut, breathing harder than someone who technically didn’t breathe. Leah was alive. Ezren was here. And the game was a lie. All of it. No second chances, redemption. Or return to life. Just bullshits. But there’s a way out...

I casually tossed the grenade up and down in my hand like a ball before hurling it toward the car where Scarface was hiding. By the time Scarface managed to shove away the zombies around him, his entire body had already erupted into flames. He staggered around screaming in agony, desperately trying to find water to put himself out. But there was nothing here that could save him. I watched expressionlessly as he burned into a charred corpse before collapsing onto the ground. I wondered how many survival points the system would reward me after destroying this many zombies at once. Thinking about that, I turned and walked back toward the estate.

After idling outside, Xiara and Quiliu, followed by the zombies who had succesfully evolved and were now having their own normal conciousness and was now sticking to each other like wanting to engrave themselves at each other bones, the two leads finally saw a building that they can take as their shelter.

*Zombie* I bolt out of the old school like a bat out of hell, the door slamming behind me with a thud that echoes in the stillness of the night. My heart pounds in my chest, each beat a frantic reminder of the chaos I just left behind. I can still hear Amber’s voice, the confusion and fear lacing her words as I sprint down the hallway, a wild frenzy coursing through my veins. Adis. The name reverberates in my mind like a drum, but it can’t be true. Adis is dead. He’s gone. I’m Zombie.
