I remained silent at the front, with my gun raised and ready the whole time. The emergency lights in the research lab flickered on and off, and the air stank of blood and decay. Distant growls of the zombies rumbled through the halls. We were about to reach the exit when a familiar wail cut through the darkness. "Help… Please, help me!" I took a closer look and saw Esmeralda pinned against a wall by three zombies, their teeth sinking into her. Her right arm had been ripped off, blood gushing like a fountain.

After a night of the cold front's purge, the survivor count had settled at 5,000,211. Another two million gone. The ones who'd made it through had clearly woken up to the game's brutality. [Buying Universal Fuel!] [Buying tires! Mine are almost shredded!] [That monster last night was terrifying. My door nearly got ripped off. I need to upgrade my sports car!] ... Ten minutes later, Jake closed the system. From the chatter, he'd gathered some useful intel. Killing zombies dropped upgrade blueprints, Universal Fuel, weapons, bread, water, razors, medicine...

"You're so noisy" Zack Flint said and firmly gripped the baseball bat he has as he slowly exposed himself and Candice Kim followed as she covered her face with her hands.If there's a hole, she really wanted to hide her embarrassed face.

It turns out zombies come from a mutated human gene that activates after death. This mutated gene is inherited by one's father if he carries the mutation.

After idling outside, Xiara and Quiliu, followed by the zombies who had succesfully evolved and were now having their own normal conciousness and was now sticking to each other like wanting to engrave themselves at each other bones, the two leads finally saw a building that they can take as their shelter.

With a primal roar, the zombies descended upon the barricade, their sheer numbers overwhelming as they clawed and gnashed at the fortified barrier. The sound of metal scraping against metal echoed through the air, punctuated by the desperate cries of the undead. Hannah and Marcky fought alongside Brandon, their abilities complementing each other as they unleashed a barrage of offensive strikes against the encroaching horde. Hannah's flames danced and flickered, engulfing any zombies that dared to draw near, while Marcky's electrified attacks sent jolts of energy coursing through the ranks of the undead.
