The Dragon's Silent Shadow

The Dragon's Silent Shadow

"Secure the perimeter!" Tristan and Saoirse moved through the whiteout. They were silent. Tristan’s new "silence" ability dampened the sound of their boots. They were ghosts in the fog. They reached the platform. Two troopers stood by the rear car, their visors glowing red in the mist. "Take the left," Tristan whispered. Saoirse moved. She emerged from the fog, a wraith in a torn silver dress. The trooper turned. "Halt!" Saoirse didn't halt. She snapped her fingers.

A Female Alpha’s Revenge

A Female Alpha’s Revenge

Priscilla was assertive but not insidious, a refreshing contrast to the duplicitous. She turned to Princess Zelda, who regarded her with evident admiration, and smiled. "Princess Zelda, it's been a while." Zelda's eyes widened with curiosity. "Have we met before?" "Yes, when you were but a child. You don't recall?" Adelaide remembered Lycan Erasmus visiting the Frostfang Pack with a little girl on his back—Princess Zelda. Zelda tilted her head, the silver moon-beam earrings at her ears swaying, her vertical pupils reflecting the frost wolf totem on Adelaide's pauldron. "I don't remember."

THEIRS: BOUND TO THE ALPHA KINGS

THEIRS: BOUND TO THE ALPHA KINGS

“It’s not a game, princess. It’s survival. Your survival, our survival... it’s all connected.” Oh Silent One finally moves, his actions deliberate as he gestures for me to follow him. I glance between him and Broody, realizing that, for now, I have no choice but to play along. But that doesn’t mean I’m giving up. “As fun as this little chat has been,” I say, injecting as much defiance into my voice as I can, “you should know something about me. I don’t play the damsel in distress very well. And I certainly don’t let anyone cage me without a fight.”

I believe this is the first shifter RH I've read where the guys are not complete alphaholes and are actually some of the sweetest men you'll find in a shifter romance. And the way Reyna comes into her own and faces everything that comes her way, even after all she's been through, is truly inspiring.

The Silent Siren

The Silent Siren

Penny stretched out on the couch resting her legs on Thea. “Well, what is she then? A witch?” Lissa cocked her head to the side. Thea’s eyes flicked to Bellamy who was staring at her intently, waiting for an answer. Pulling on her lower lip, she looked at Penny. “Uhm… not a witch no… She’s a Princess.” A frown marred Bellamy’s face. “A Princess? Why would a Princess be willing to help us?” Thea looked at Penny and widened her eyes.

Silent Revenge

Silent Revenge

"I'm sorry, Grace. The forest really isn't safe. I have to find him. I promise I'll come back and finish this with you." I gave him a faint smile, though I could barely breathe through the pain in my chest. He would not come back once he left. That was always how it ended. As he bent down to comfort Laila, I quietly poured the bond-breaking potion into the wine glass. I walked over and held it out to him, my voice soft but firm. "Finish this, and I'll forgive you." Philip smiled and finished it in one gulp. He put the glass down and left with Laila without a second glance.

The Ultimate Husband

The Ultimate Husband

There was no way she could help with the situation anyway—returning might cause further trouble. As she pondered that, Princess Dorothy put the Emerald Sky Pearl, the Rainbow Amulet, and the jade bottle containing the curious flame away for safekeeping before walking forward. Princess Dorothy did not have a single clue where she was, but she knew that she had to get as far away as possible lest the fiends found her. However, she did not realize that a few hundred meters behind her, a figure had landed on the ground silently. His gaze had an unreadable glint, and his expression shone sinisterly.

Second chance at happiness

Second chance at happiness

Ludo explained, handing over the scroll Mira had scribbled earlier. Everyone feigned ignorance. Whatever this was, they could always ask Matthew later. Meanwhile, in the carriage--- The moment Zelda heard the whistle, she began chanting, low, steady, almost inaudible; her hands moving in precise, practised gestures. She opened her eyes briefly… then snapped her fingers. A violet glow bloomed around her, expanding steadily until it enveloped the ice boxes where His and Her Graces lay… …and in the next instant, both the boxes and Zelda vanished.

Becoming the Elf King's bride

Becoming the Elf King's bride

In the dim dungeon, Prince Ron struggled to see, while Zedekiel, with a snap of his finger, lit more than a dozen light pearls, banishing the darkness. As Prince Ron blinked, adjusting to the sudden brightness, he scrunched his nose at the dungeon's stench. His gaze fell upon Hilda, seated on the floor, wrists and ankles bound by head chains affixed to the wall. "Please, kill me." Hilda croaked, not bothering to look at the people who came to see her. "I don't want to go back to her. Please, just kill me."

Novaturient: Crescent Lovers

The room tensed up in awkward silence. “That’s such a beautiful emerald you are wearing, Silas,” Priscilla said, a sly grin on her red lips. “Where did you get it from?” “I got it from-” Silas voice faded, realizing that he walked right into the female wolf’s trap. He shrunk in his seat in embarrassment and Priscilla lifted her head up in victory. Noah soon realized what actually happened. Silas might be the Alpha of the wealthiest clan. However, Priscilla was the Alpha of Polhagen. The clan with the richest land. Simply, all the jewelry that Silas wore was mined from Polhagen’s land.
