Zeus: The Blind Owl Novels & Stories

With that, she turned and started walking away, heading away. A few hours later, the full moon sat in the sky. It was the night. It was the night of the Oracle Ceremony, and the town was alive. Everyone was getting ready, everyone was preparing for the event that only came around once a year. The alpha and Luna were going to be there, not because they needed mates, but because they were the leaders of the pack, and they needed to be there to show support. A lot of other people who already had mates were going to be there as well, to celebrate the Moon goddess and to watch and see who would be paired with whom tonight.

The sight of them makes me want to send another plague. ‘I just told you what I wanted. Spare the life of King Lykaon and your debt will be settled.’ Her eyes were like molten gold, softening as she searched his gaze. They stared each other down. Zeus caved. ‘Fine. I won’t kill him. But I will still make him suffer for this insolence.’ He lifted a wooden whistle from his chest and blew into it. No sound came out, but soon after, a large black wolf entered the clearing.

I watched as Poseidon's gaze snapped in my direction. His gaze burned through me like wildfire. And his eyes darkened as he stared at me like a predator assessing his prey, to devour hungrily. I saw nothing but plain lust as he stared at the little bit of cleavage my cloth exposed. My feet wavered a little bit, and I met his gaze with a scornful look, as I made my way towards the couch. He only gave a sinister smirk. "Sit" Zeus ordered. I did. And Artemis sat beside me.

Zeus appears in the cave where the Wendigos have been hiding for centuries. They always thought their location was a well-kept secret. Zeus has always made sure to keep a watchful eye on all evil beings and creatures that may be a threat to Wisdom and were known to side with demons. The cave seems to be empty but as Zeus walks deeper into the cave and sees thousands of Wendigos discussing attacking the surface to take humans to feed on. “So going after my great granddaughter wasn’t enough that now you want to go after defenseless humans.” Zeus yells while throwing thunderbolts at some of the Wendigos.”

he mused. Eliza continued excitedly as if she had discovered some long-lost treasure. “I mean think about it. Oliver, not only can you manipulate fire, but you can create it within yourself. You are fire, you’re one of the elements.” She switched her eyes to James. “You’re the son of Zeus, the only one still alive. What is Zeus the god of? The sky,” she said in answer to her own question. “James, you’re the element of wind . . . or air if you will.” James didn’t quite believe her because unlike Oliver, he didn’t have any kind of super abilities. Sure, he could fight well, but anything to do with wind? No. But, still. “If that’s true, then who are the last elements?”

Owen pipes up before I can even respond, his eyes narrowed and suspicious as he eyes the sun God. “Zelus.” Apollo repeats, smirking slightly at Owen and I’s lack of knowledge. “He used to stand in attendance at Zeus’s throne. However...around a century ago, he decided he didn’t want to serve Zeus anymore, and attempted to assassinate him foolishly one night. He was going to kill him, but Hera asked him to take mercy on him, and so Zeus banned him from Olympus instead, warning him to never return.”

There is something she has to discuss with him. She finds Zeus studying the glow worms in the caves. “What are you doing?” She asks. Zeus jumps up because he didn’t hear her coming in. “I am trying to figure out a way to transform the light magic from the glow worms into a spell so I can make light weapons.” Holly has no idea how he wants to make powerful weapons from a little worm but it wouldn’t be the first time he surprised her with something remarkable. “We need to discuss something,” she says.

ENZO I stood in the same spot, dumbfounded by the blatant disrespect that I received from the cloaked woman. “I am so sorry for our servant’s behavior, Prince Enzo,” Queen Grace said, glaring at the direction the woman ran off to. “She has always been like this.” I frowned. “You have such a defiant servant? Then why do you still keep her around?” “She’s blind,” King Leo interrupted. “Our kingdom has such a kind heart that we decided to keep a blind servant around,” he boasted, while the other members of the royal family empathetically nodded their heads.

“What?” “Yes sir. Apparently, we are her oracles. She made it so I can draw the scene.” I said holding up the drawing pad. “And Liz sees the whole picture as like a video of sorts.” “I never dreamed I’d be alive to see an oracle of the Moon Goddess!” Alpha James exclaimed. “So, you believe us?” Liz asked. “Of course, I do! There are many books that tell of different oracles through the ages and how coveted they are. We cannot let anyone know about you two.”

No, it is merely will full omission of information. “They loved you too much,” Athena told him. Since she was a little girl, she remembered how Charles and Olivia were proud of their eldest. They loved all three kids equally, but Azazel is like the north star in their sky. He would let no one say a word against Azazel. Especially Olivia. The woman was a warrior princess when it came to her elder son.
