Zombie Air Novels & Stories

Elias asked Xander over me. My head snapped up. "Ashes?" "Yes. Vampires burst into flames when they're killed." Elias shrugged. "So, the sunlight doesn't affect them?" Obviously, I had more to learn about our supernatural world than I had originally thought. "Yes, but Lance's wife, Leila, created a sunlight serum. So, now they can go into sunlight without bursting into flames," Xander replied as if this were the most normal conversation ever. "Why do they burst into flames in sunlight in the first place?" I asked.

SEBASTIAN'S POV I awoke to the smell of smoke curling up my nostrils. Am I on fire? I look around me to find the source of the smoke but there’s nothing, absolutely nothing. Everywhere is dark and empty. Hollow even. Where am I? I’m sure as hell this not the room I fell asleep. This is not even a room, it’s like a black hole. Did I die in my sleep and go to hell? Is this what hell looks like?

Peter looked crestfallen when he saw how close Zachary was to me. Zachary pulled my sleeves upward, and he furrowed his brows. Tiny red spots could be seen on the inner side of my arm, thanks to Selena's vigorous rubbing earlier. Peter narrowed his eyes slightly and fixed his gaze on Zachary as he asked, "Dr. Jenkins, aren't you being a little too close to her?" Zachary turned his head toward Peter, then tugged at his collar slightly. "We are professionals. We won't do anything out of line."

The morning sun barely penetrated the haze of dust and decay that hung over the desolate campus. Shadows danced across the rubble-strewn ground as the tension in the air thickened. The group—Joseph, Luke, Mira, Collins, Jeff, Favour, and Sarah—stood trapped in a suffocating circle of fear. Akin stood at the center, flanked by his sentient zombie and a horde of undead, their vacant, lifeless eyes trained on their prey.

Evelyn POV “Phantom there's no way in hell I am wearing this!” Zombie complained as he held the pink t-shirt that read: ‘Down to DEFCON’. Buddha walked into the conference room with a huge smile on his face. “I don’t know Z, this shirt is pretty awesome.” He looked down at his own pink t-shirt that he had cut into a tank top. “I think pink is our color.” Zombie rolled his eyes. “You don’t even understand computers but yet you are wearing a shirt that only makes sense to computer people!”

Munch… Crunch… Suddenly, a chewing sound came from around the corner. Julian was stunned and poked half his head out to look. By the elevator, a zombie in a torn Armani suit was crouched on the floor, gnawing on a corpse that had long since become unrecognizable. As if it had smelled fear coming off a living person, the suited zombie suddenly went still. It slowly turned its head. Its cloudy, pale eyes locked onto Julian. A long, dark red piece of intestine was still hanging from the corner of its torn mouth.

He demanded using all the power he could muster. Zara began shaking. Her whole body trembled. She closed her eyes and when they opened she is no longer the same girl. Her features hardened and her gray eyes glowed frightening. "You stupid witch" she whispered. Jace let her go taking a step back. Zara sucked in a breath then blew it out forcefully. The black air howled as it brushed over his face. It smelled of dead flowers and felt unnaturally hot. Jace shook it off but nothing else happened. No pain at all. He stared at Zara as she smiled sinisterly at him. He couldn't believe she is actually the necromancer.

Racing to the great room, she grabbed a pair of binoculars that hung ready for use on a hook near the picture window and peered through them. The oversized window in the great room gave her a better angle to look from. That, plus the assistance of the binoculars, allowed her to scrutinize the man’s face. Her blood ran cold when she saw the lifeless eyes and odd colored flesh. This had to be a zombie. She didn’t have to have experience in what they looked like to know that this was one.

I stood, gasping as I watched him struggle to climb up the mountain with the passed out Nixton and a hundred monsters behind him. "Guys a little help" Gold said breathlessly and I blinked and rushed up to them. kelvin brought out his hand to lift him up and Lex held onto Gold's right hand. "Nixon!" Camila cried, running towards Gold and helped putting Nixton down. "Thanks for saving him" she whispered to Gold and he nodded. "Hope those dead fucker's won't be able to get up." I spat looking down at them struggling to climb the closet stones. "They are called zombie-the living dead. They feel no pain and when they bite, they transfer a virus which goes through your brain and turn you into one
