The dishes that waited for me on the table were BBQ ribs, chili con carne, sauteed broccoli, and zucchini soup. I shamelessly polished everything off again. After freeloading like this for three days straight, I started to feel a little guilty. This ghost not only had a good temper, but she also clearly knew how to run a household. I dug a pink sticky note out of a drawer and, using a thick black pen, wrote, "Hi. What should I call you? I feel bad just eating your cooking all the time." When I finished, I placed the note neatly in the center of the table.

His limbs were ripped from their sockets, torn apart piece by piece. “Ah,” I let out a sharp gasp watching the gruesome sight and then realizing it was no different from what Rowan wanted to do. This scene would be a ghastly feast for any vampire, a sight that was capable of satisfying their darkest and most depraved desires - blood. And yet, this was exactly the kind of slaughter that Rowan had been craving. “Are you alright?” Alpha Axel asked me suddenly, his eyes scanning my face. “Y-yes. I am,” came my reply, with an affirmative nod.

*Zombie* I bolt out of the old school like a bat out of hell, the door slamming behind me with a thud that echoes in the stillness of the night. My heart pounds in my chest, each beat a frantic reminder of the chaos I just left behind. I can still hear Amber’s voice, the confusion and fear lacing her words as I sprint down the hallway, a wild frenzy coursing through my veins. Adis. The name reverberates in my mind like a drum, but it can’t be true. Adis is dead. He’s gone. I’m Zombie.

she said as Eric sighed. "I see that you do not understand anything. Oscar, Freddy, Raven, the evil nurse, and the rest of them out there are not zombies" "Then what are they? Cohorts to the Master?" She inquired as he shook his head sideways. "They are the Advanced Z" "Advanced Z?" She asked. "Yes. Advanced Z. There are three types of Zombies. The zombies, Failed Experiments and the Advanced Z" he spoke as she listened to him attentively while he explained.

Yet here they were, moving towards us and easily fighting back. "What the hell?" I hissed, continuing to take it in. "What are they?" "Zombies." Turning, I met Gray’s disgusted gaze as it took in the scene. When did he get here? "Zombies?" I repeated, furrowing my brows. "Like in the movies?" "Did I stutter?" Gray scoffed in boredom. Biting back my instant reply, I fought the urge to punch the cocky bastard. "It’s just…" I tried, motioning towards the scene. "Hard to believe."

"Un-fucking-believable. We have to start all the way at the beginning." Victoria giggled, sitting back on the couch and taking a swig of her beer. "You shoot like a girl, Jaz." "Bullshit." The demon grinned. "You should see me against real zombies." Her jaw dropped. "Those exist too?" He laughed. "Yea, they're summoned by necromancers. That's an old practice though. The things are like locusts. Even the necro's have a hard time keeping them under control." He shuddered, as if remembering a past event. "The bastards mostly summon ghouls and phantoms now."

“It is enough to have to battle each other without throwing the human race into the mix.” “You war with each other?” Jasper asked with surprise. Rowan nodded. “Indeed,” he said, “The werewolf and vampire are fierce enemies.” “And zombies?” Jasper asked. “What about them?” “The zombie is a curious anomaly,” Rowan began. “Unlike the vampire or werewolf, it is not a creation from another dimension come here. A zombie is the result of a virus that takes hold of a recently deceased corpse and causes just enough animation to allow it to function in the most primitive of ways.”
