I could feel my heartbeat increasing. "Fuck!" Lorenzo cursed. "I'm out too" he said swapping swapping his rifle with his Beretta, he cocked it and sent a bullet to the head of a zed that got dangerously close to the pallet walls, with it's brain matter splattering on the pallet. The stench of decay filled the air immediately but we didn't give a damn, we're used to it anyways. "Smith try to contact Dave or Mark, Austin will cover your position" I said slapping off one of the infected that tried to climb the forklift with my gun.

I held her hand and begged. Zara's POV I was standing in an empty and dark room. I was scared for I couldn't see anything. There were no windows. "Hello Zara," a voice that sent shivers down my spine said. "What am I doing here? Where am I? How did I get here?" I asked, trying not to show the fear. "I just wanted to talk. Maybe become friends. We are of the same breed, no?" he was a vampire. I could smell it.

I don't remember having a sacred book with me. Hold on. Could it be the book that I thought belonged to my mom? "It's the book you almost destroyed," he informed me. Oh, maybe that's why he texted me to not tear it up. At that time I was so confused and thought he was a stalker. Little did I know he was actually a blood-sucking demon. Or was he? "Since you're a vampire, do you drink blood?" I asked because from what I know, they're always thirsty for blood and he hasn't shown any sign of that.

He went straight to the metal table and laid the girl there. Doctor Jones Hampton was not surprised that another victim is brought to him again by one of his hunter friends. It has been going on like this since he started his career and he isn't complaining. In fact he likes it. He likes it that these hunters always take the initiation to save some humans who had done nothing to be preyed on by vampires like him. Reason why he remained vegetarian, or the animal blood-sucking vampires. This is also the reason why he dedicated his life helping hunters save these people. He stays in his clinic 24 hours during weekdays and only goes home on the weekends.

Dominic got up from the chair and stretched himself, “That is what I was thinking myself. I am growing rusty and need to fight a little. Let’s go.” Valencia nodded her head and added, “Just inform your beta as well as mine so that they might come in if we need reinforcements, we have no idea what we would find there.” The alpha rubbed his hands together and replied, “As you say archon. Give me five minutes.” Taking the book in her hand, Valencia began reading through the page and memorizing whatever details Daniel had left them. Her gut feeling told her that she would find whoever had cursed her there and what this black mask had against the werewolves.

They began to shout.

"All written by the same author as the last one. She's really good," he smiled. "She describes certain scenarios of what could have happened in Melia Conkinova's life, regarding her parents' lives, their death, and her own as well. I've read them all, they're incredible!" he exclaimed with excitement. "Sorry," he mumbled. "No problem," she said, tousling his blond hair.

No one had visited this place in a long time; even just one visitor… was enough to make his heart rejoice—rejoice because it signaled that someone still remembered this place. BOOOOMMM…. BOOOOMMM….
