Falling for you again

Falling for you again

Without hesitation, Jack kicked the door hard as soon as Zion finished speaking. "Boom! Boom!" After just two kicks, the door was kicked open by Jack. The door frame was broken and the lock was crookedly hanging on it. Jack didn't even look at it. He stepped into the bedroom of this suite. After two or three steps, when he walked past the small corridor next to the door and saw the scene inside the room clearly, he shook violently and his mind went blank for a moment. Although he had thought that Hazel might meet someone with evil intentions and even thought of other not-so-good results, when he saw his woman being treated like this by another man with his own eyes, he was shocked, angry, an

FACELESS FUTURE

FACELESS FUTURE

Since my mom and I always spent most of our days in the store, she created a space where we do all our cooking. We drove for two minutes, no one wanted to initiate the conversation. Mr. Jack asked "where is your house? let me drop you. After today I don't want to ever see you again." Hearing this I was happy, finally, I will be free from his terror. Mr. Jack brags a lot, but at the same time, he always keeps to his promise. His only problem is against women, he can't do without tipping them off with aphrodisiacs before having pleasure with them. He loves to play the victim role.

What Jack Wants

What Jack Wants

Apologizing was usually not Jack's speed but he was quickly learning that if you wanted to live with a woman you had to know how to apologize and he was quickly mastering the art, even though he didn't mean it sometimes. Jack was thoroughly relieved when he heard the final click of the door as Jess left the house. He was happy to be alone, that way, you didn't have to worry about upsetting anybody with his foul mood. He settled back into the couch to enjoy his whiskey but his relief was short-lived as the doorbell rang almost immediately. That can't be Jess, he thought to himself. She knew the combination to unlock the door, there was no way she was ringing the doorbell after she was gone on

Step Brother

Step Brother

Jack's deep voice chuckles as he records Violet's semi-drunk and half naked body dancing overly sexually. A few more deep laughs were heard in the background before Jack points the camera in Zac's face, having the flash light up his skin. Zac has a hard and disgusted look on his face as he looks down at Violet. "This your girl?" Jack laughs again, causing Zac to shove Jack's phone out of his hand. "Bruh get that shit out of my fucking face!" Zac curses, before the video completely ends. What the fuck? That entire video was completely weird. Before I have time to sit down and contemplate my feelings; I begin to hear the doorknob twisting open, completely catching me off guard. I immediately c

The Weekend With The Beta

The Weekend With The Beta

I couldn’t finish. Jack’s hand touched my shoulder. I shrugged it off. Comfort was useless; it didn’t change what was coming. I grabbed the rolling pin, fingers trembling, and rolled feverishly. The motion steadied me, gave me something to do besides think. Jack let out a soft sigh, trying to lighten the room. “It’s hard to believe Zach would fall for anyone,” he said, forcing a half-smile. “That’s Zach—weary of attachments, swore off them by twenty-five. And now this. Do you think it’s easy for him?”

Luck and You

Luck and You

He hadn’t eaten anything sweet until 4 days after. Patrice was walking down to the grocery store happily. Really. Her mood is the best today. No L means happiness all over for her. She was even humming a tune on the way to the grocery store. Well, aside from the fact that there is no L today, she loved how it feels when she goes to the grocery. “Why are you so jumpy?” Patrice stopped at that irritating voice. She even stopped walking to think if she heard right. She sighed and continued walking upon convincing herself that she is hallucinating.

Ryoshi
This is an interesting book with intriguing characters and premise. The author does well to draw the audience in and make them part of the story. The narrator feels very genuine, and I began to feel for him. Very well done.
Nightingale ✍️
Mhenn this story is Lit?. It keeps the reader drawn to the main character. At the first chapter I was already glued to how chuka's mistakes caused misfortunes to others. This is definitely a story y'all should read.

The Lycan League

The Lycan League

Coward. I purposely let my boots make noise as I made my way slowly to him, stopping behind his chair. The cold room grew even colder as my beast released some of the darkness swallowing him. Jack began to cough as the darkness swarmed around him, cutting off his oxygen and making him gasp and breathe in the negativity that choked my beast for so long. My beast had grown comforted by violence. I chuckled as I heard his desperate panting for air as if his lungs refused to take in all the air in the room. “It’s all in your head, Jack. Breathe,” I said loudly. My voice sounded rougher and harsher with a sort of wild animal snarl to it.

My Luck, Reclaimed

My Luck, Reclaimed

There were several bloody scratches on his gaunt face, yet his eyes shone brightly as he smiled and urged me to eat quickly. “You’re hopeless, aren’t you? I’ll have to earn a fortune someday just to support you,” Shawn said with little thought and much carefreeness. Tears streamed uncontrollably down my cheeks as I lowered my head further. It was the first time anyone had ever been so kind to me. I was really moved. Therefore, back then, I lent him my rabbit’s foot luck. He could then steal ham sandwiches without getting caught by the director. From then on, everything was smooth sailing for him. Even the director began to treat him kindly.

Framed as a Quack: I Crushed My Hands in Rage

Framed as a Quack: I Crushed My Hands in Rage

Since I had deliberately hidden my injured right hand inside my loose white coat, Megan didn't notice it was hurt at all. She strode up to me and, without a word, slapped me across the face. "Donovan, as a doctor, how could you let jealousy drive you to kill your own patient? You're not even fit to be called human!" I pressed my tongue against the inside of my stinging cheek, and out of the corner of my eye, I spotted someone from Megan's group already discreetly pulling out a camera. I chuckled inwardly. "What nonsense are you talking about? When did I ever kill my patient? Pierre's surgery—"
