I nodded.
"I want some chicken," I told him, and he furrowed his brow in slight confusion.
"Like a living chicken or...?" I burst into hysterical laughter, covering my face with my hands. He chuckled, kissing my forehead, and left.
On shaky legs, I made my way to the nursery and carefully placed the baby in his crib. Returning to the couch, I allowed the memories to consume me.
"I found this app that shows you what our future kids would look like," I said, turning to look at him. He popped open one eye, rolling over and resting his head on my chest. His hand trailed down slowly.
