"I really hate your uncle," Gore grunted when he and Harlow were finally alone after planting the crystal.

"Who doesn't? He is a ruthless vampire king after all. And I know the feeling is mutual, you should see his thoughts. They are dark, filled with nothing but death. Wishing to rip the heads of whoever squares up to him off."

"I will take him on any day."

"There is no need for that. October is slowly clearing his polluted mind. Helping his insanity." Harlow told him.

Gore grunted. He had no problem with Harlow but being around this much vampires and witches was making him anxious. So were the other wolves, all thinking the same thing. That this is a trap and the bloodsuckers and spell casters will turn on them soon.

"Don't worry about it Gore, I wouldn't be here or dragged the pack along if I had any doubts about Scarlet or anyone else."

"How did you know I was worried?"

"Coming here, I made sure to remove the spell from my mind to see inside people's heads. I couldn't risk it."
