Rose's POV
I wake up to an annoying ringing next to my head. I try to open my eyes but it's like its glued shut. I use my hand to feel around my bed side table to navigate the alarm clock so I can smash it to a million piece's.
However , to my surprise it was my phone. With eyes still shut , I pick it up and skillful press the answer button.
Alex : "Hello! Princess , Thank God you answered!"
Me : Hmmm who is this , what time is it?
Alex : Awww baby did I disturb you from your sleep , I'm so sorry...Its Alex btw princess.
My eyes tear itself open as realization hits. Its Alex!!!!
Me : oh hey
Alex : Im sorry I disturbed you from your sleep but I just wanted to let you know that I was <
My toes wiggle in the cold, moist sand – it feels so soft against my skin. The sand spreads out, further and further, as far as I can see. It glistens as if a million stars have fallen from the heavens above and softly swallowed by the solid ground and now illuminates its light from below. One could mistake it for the calm sea, shining from the sun’s harsh rays. However, its soft grainy texture and its ability to hold me from falling prove that it is indeed sand. A cool breeze fans me, as I stare into space. I feel content, light and free. I feel pure bliss and happiness. However, there’s a feeling I have that I quite not understand. The odd feeling is short lived as another b
I stare at the food laid out in front of me – pancakes’, waffles, bacon and eggs. My mom really has gone all out this morning. It’s early Saturday morning – the “date day” as my mom likes to call it. I hear my mom and dad chattering while making much more good foods to stuff me with. The food is simply delicious, its smell is so inviting. “Come on Honey, eat up! You got to have your energy hey” my mom throws me a wink. I notice my dad balls up his fist – I think he knows what my mom meant. These crazy kids…My mom fills my plates with everything that is on the table and almost offers to feed me, but I resp
To say that that was the best lunch I ever had would be an understatement. Alex surely made eating seafood fun. There was several times where I wanted to hit him over the head, especially when he had stated that we were eating thee Nemo. However, eating with him was an absolute treat. I am definitely going to bring mom and dad here someday; this restaurant serves the best food. My compliments to the chef!!!Alex has said that he has a little surprise for me, and that he will present it to me after lunch. I would not stop nagging him to tell me what the surprise was. He would not stop laughing at how childish I was behavi
I have a sharp intake of oxygen, a large amount that expands my lungs to the maximum. My eyes fly wide open; my body springs from the soft comforters that I lay on. I gasp for air, like a fish out of water. A hoarse noise escapes my mouth as I hyperventilate. Tears flow down my cheek, dripping onto my once white colored fabric, which now is smeared with dirt and….light prints of blood. Or is it wine? I am not really sure.My heart feels a sudden pain, almost as if it is tearing at its seams. My right hand grabs a hold of my dress fabric which is closest to my heart, and I pull at it. It does not lessen the pain, but helps to put my emotions into actions. A ball of stone sits in m
Jason’s POVI feel my bones break into place, and sweat drop from my forehead. It has been weeks since I have been out of that dark place and I could not be any happier. Imagine having no control of your body, you hear the outside world but all you see is darkness. Imagine feeling helpless in every situation your external body faces – I had never truly been helpless before and it truly has been hell. However, the time I spent in my own head, my “demon” had been the only person I could talk to, to prevent me from going absolutely crazy. I used to think that Xavier was a demon that had poss
Rose’s POVBefore I exit my house, I dramatically turn around and pout. I see Fluffy laying on the floor which his head on his paw – his begging me to stay but I cannot. I give him one last wave before closing the door. I would not lie; my life has become more bearable with Fluffy in it. When I arrive at school, everything seems normal at first until I notice a commotion on the football field. There is a huge circle formed around two individuals who are barbarically fighting. I really do not understand how people can stand around so much violence and be entertained by it. I watch has people laugh, an
“Ladies first” Jason opens the door to the library for me. I give him a smile before entering. He has been surprisingly sweet – from opening doors, to buying me snacks in the cafeteria. However, these simple acts are not enough to earn one’s trust. School had officially ended two minutes ago and so here we are at the school library trying to find a book on the myth Jason suggested. I was pretty surprised that he actually attempted to be a part of this assignment instead of slacking off and letting me do all the work. He would not tell me about the myth so that we could spend more “bonding time” together looking up its information. We walk up to Miss Baker’s front desk and wait for her to assist us. When she does come around, she seems seemingly shocked when she notices Jason.
School has just finished , and damn what a long day it has been. My legs are in excruciating pain with every step that I take – I remind myself to do some form of fitness so that if I were to be chased by a car again I would not feel as much pain as I feel today. Jason has not attended school today but he has sent me a message stating that I should wait for him by the parking lot and he will pick me up. I stand in the blistering cold , vowing to slap Jason upside the head for taking so long. I watch as the school’s parking lot slowly begins to empty , until there was only one last car.Suddenly a bright red mustang with tinted windows pull in into the parking lot , revving and coming to a stop next me. I ready myself to start sprinting again , when Jason rolls down the window – and I visibly relax. He looks to me with a lot of questions brewing in mind which show through his eyes. I get into his car and carefully close the door , I try my hardest to keep my hands to myse
