Luisa’s POV

The day was brighter or it was just because of my happy mood. When I remembered what happened yesterday, I smiled. The fact that Clarissa was out of the house and Nelly was still living was good. She was not permitted to visit Nelly in the mansion, and whenever she wanted to see her, Nelly would be accompanied by a maid to visit her. That was a part of my source of joy, but waking up in King’s arms was the main reason for my happy mood. I barely slept throughout the night but I woke up with a bright smile.

I was humming in the kitchen trying to prepare a meal for Chris before going to school when Jenny came in. She had decided to cut off the silent treatment, maybe because Clarissa had finally left the mansion. But knowing Jenny she couldn't be angry with me for a long time.
