Love?

Come to think of it, Jennifer felt like a big hammer was hammering down her scalp. There was a little panic in her heart, even a kind of possessive feeling, as if she wanted to announce to the whole country that she was actually his wife.

She didn't know how long she stood motionless, but when Edric Miller spoke, she was startled awake.

"What's wrong with you, Jennifer?"

"I'm okay. I'm fine."

"Then let me take you home." Edric Miller said.

Jennifer nodded, did not say another word, put a thoughtful face into the car parked outside the door.

On the way home, Jennifer did not say much, although Edric Miller repeatedly asked her, she did not care much. Her mind was now only on images of her husband and Madison Anderson.

"Do you want me to drive you home or to work?"

"Do you mind driving me to the company?" Jennifer replied.

"You just drive me to the company."
