Chapter # 19

“What can you do for me?” Persephone asked, pressing her palm on Zadicus’ chest, staring intensely into his affectionate gaze.

He smirked, putting his hand over hers, creating an everlasting link of eyes, whispering the honest reply,

“I can abandon this world for your sake.”

Persephone all alone, looking out while hugging herself recalling a painful memory which broke her heart terribly.

Lowering her eyes, she stared at her hand, whispering with difficulty.

“But, you left me for the world…”

Seeing him again was too painful for her, watching him after all those years brought back the unwanted memories.

His one glance dug the pain she buried, her imagination where they have fallen apart is not wavering.

And their distances are killing her.

Why did you come back? Why are you torturing me like this? Is it easy for you?

She thought, pressing her hand on the balustrade.
