"Your place is lovely," I coo, staring wide eyed at the room he brings me to. He sighs deeply, taking off his jacket, "Please don't be a nuisance to me. I beg of you." I scowl at him, "What do you even think I am? It's not as if I want to be stuck with your grumpy old ass either," I cross my arms over my chest, scoffing. I plop on the bed, "Oh it's so soft!" "Get up. We've got a mission to take care of. Well, I have a mission to take care of." I groan, "Oh come on. You should go without me, just be back before the end of three hours." I feel a shadow fall over me, and I snap my eyes open. Auren stands over me, giving me a grimace. "Stand up. We don't have time to waste," he swirls around, walking away from the bed. "You don't have any right to be rude to me," I sit up on the bed, "If you're not going to be nice, then forget about it." He looks over his shoulder, his eye twitching, "You can't be for real right now," he grits his teeth My cheeks light on fire, I clench my fists, grinding my teeth until I hear them creak. 'This was not the kind of omega I was expecting. How is she all so defiant? Not one sign of her shaking in her toes.' A small proud smirk teases my lips, and I cross my legs over each other. There, I put him in his place. Hmph! "Are you going to stare at me, or are you going to be nicer now?" I grin foolishly at him. He rolls his eyes, then holds his face as if trying to push away the frustration building up on his veins. 'Okay Auren, be nice. Be nice.' He raises his head up, and forces a weird grin onto his face, "P- lease. Come with me." "I didn't quite catch that," I tilt my head to the side, holding my ear. 'i should probably take my life. This is too much for me.' I furrow my brows, "You're chaotic, and proud. What do you mean you want to die?" I blurt out. He holds his head, giving me a confused expression. 'Is she reading my mind?' I whip my mouth shut, swirling around on my heels so I can avoid his eyes. He doesn't have to know I can read his mind. I have to keep this a secret, or who knows what he'll do to me? "Come on, you're wasting my time," he stamps to the door, "We have to leave immediately, we still have a long way to go," he orders. "I ain't taking a step from here until you say that nicely," I plop back on the bed again, burying my face in it. 'Dear moon goddess, maybe I should kill her, and kill myself.' Heavy footsteps fill my ears, approaching my bed. Suddenly, a large arm grabs me by the waist, hauling me from the bed. "P-le.." he grumbles something under his breath, his eyes avoiding mine as he slumps me over his shoulder. "Enough of this little play of yours. We're leaving," he scoffs, marching towards the door. "Put me down. I didn't tell you I couldn't walk!" I hit on his shoulder, kicking my feet in the air. "Can you please quiet down? You're giving me a stroke," he grunts. 'The next would be a heart attack, and boom, thus dies the Lycan kingpin.' My face flushes with anger, the tension in my veins are building up with rage, ready to explode at any damn moment. "As if you're some kinda hotshot," I scoff, my shoulders slumping in defeat. Good girl. Please remain like this for the rest of the day." "No I–" 'Dear moon goddess, kill me instead of torturing me this way.' *** It's already nighttime as we approach the den of the rival rogues we are supposed to ambush. Auren, I, and eight other guys all wait in ambush outside their hideout. You guessed right. My heart's pounding like crazy, I'm sure the rogues inside can hear me from their hideout. "D-do I have to be a part of this?" I shiver, my teeth clattering as I try to stay put, but it's not working. "You're only staying here. You're not going in with us," he reminds me for the umpeenth time. "You'll leave me here? What if I get eaten by someone?" I place my hands over my mouth. "Boss, it seems they have let their guard down. We can attack," one of the men with us informs Auren. "Let's go then," he signals for the rest of his men to stay filing into the hideout. He jumps out of his hiding spot, but I'm quick to hold his arm. The sound of my heartbeat filling my ears makes me even more nervous. My palms, and armpits are buried in sweat, my lips won't stop trembling. I'm trembling! I'm literally in enemy territory! "P-please don't leave me alone here," I hug his arm, my body still shaking like a leaf lost in the wind. "Stay here," he makes me return to my initial hiding position, "Nothing will happen to you. I'll make sure of that," he pats my head, turns on his heels, then calmly walks into the building. 'It's payback time for making me run like a chicken you motherfuckers.' Run like a chicken? 'Time to crush those bastards.' 'I can't wait to get a million grand just for killing these people!' 'We should get this over with. I'm bored already, ugh.' The thoughts of those chaotic men pour out in my head, making my thoughts drown. "Jeez, mind reading is apparently a lot, I'll have to get used to it soon," I groan, holding my head. 'What a stupid Lycan lord? Who does he think I am, that I'd be prone to ambush? Tch, today comes your downfall, lord Auren, hah!' Chills run down my spine as I read those thoughts. I crouch lower into my position, figuring out who had those thoughts. My eyes finally land on him. A tall blond, on a piece of black tailored suit. His eyes are so cold, they send a thousand shivers down my back. 'Wait until I bomb this whole place. You're a nuisance to the underworld, and it affects me, punk.' I almost squirm, but I press my hands over my mouth to stop any sound from coming out of me. Auren is in trouble, and I have to do something!Asha "Asha?" Auren calls. I don't respond. I just sit there frozen in place. It's dark. Like really dark. Jet black dark. I can't see a thing. It wasn't this dark when I was thrown into that room with Auren, or even when we got stuck in the middle of nowhere. At least, I could see some stuff. But this is not the case. I hate this kind of dark. I hate the memories associated with it. I never want to be in a dark room. The goddess knows the trauma that followed each time I was in a dark room. I hear the stove being turned off. "Let me go check the wires; something must have gone wrong with them," he says, and I hear his footsteps shuffling for the door. "Auren wait! Don't leave me here!" I cry out in panic. I hear his footsteps pause, "Is something wrong?" "I- I'm scared of the dark," I admit, my bones trembling as though a block of ice were shoved through my throat. "You're a werewolf. Why would you be scared of the dark?" An amused chuckle leaves hi
Asha "I can't have you feeling sick" Auren groans, "Whatever is wrong with you? Can't you at least describe your symptoms?" He places me gently on the seat. "I- I'm actually fine," My hand instinctively grabs his collar. He pauses, his brow cocking, "Hm?" "I'm not sick," My cheeks warm up, and I immediately look away. "Then what's the matter with you? Why were you acting as though you were on the brink of death?" "I don't think your brother is trustworthy," I sigh, "I did that so we could get away from him." He pulls away from me with a grimace, "How would you know that?" I'm not supposed to tell you— or am I? "Don't play with me. I'm not in the mood for your games right now." I bite my lower lip to stop me from saying utterly vile words. "Get in the car," I gently pull him in, "We should leave. Our welcome has been overstayed." He heaves, slumping into the seat, "You're right. It's already late, you must be exhausted." Tch. The driver kick
Asha Auren comes back to the car looking distressed. His brows are pinched together, his eyes slightly narrowed. 'Zarven couldn't do this to me. It can't be.' I arch an eyebrow. Who's Zarven? What couldn't he do now? I gasp, placing my fingers over my mouth. Oh my goodness, is somebody dead? Did this Zarven kill someone? He opens the car door and enters inside, "Drive," he tells the driver, "Now. To Zarven's place." The driver nods, and kick starts the engine. "What's the matter? You look unhappy all of a sudden," I ask. He shakes his head, "It's not something you should worry about, princess," he grumbles, looking out the window. Bad thing, I can read your mind, duh; worse thing, I don't know what's going on. ... We arrive at a stony mansion. I mean, this baby is literally made of stones, those ancient vibes and all. Or maybe this is a castle? I alight from the car, my eyes going wide at the ancient yet majestic sight before me. Auren alights from
Auren I walk outside to the car where Asha is. She's resting her head against the headrest, her beautiful hair falling over her face. Mm. Some peace and quiet I guess. I gently open the car door so I won't wake her up, but the minute I get into the car, she jerks up, whipping her head in my direction. "Oh, it's you," she grumbles, rubbing her eyes sleepily. "It's okay. You can go back to sleep," I sigh, closing my eyes and resting against the headrest. "I don't want to anymore," I feel my side of the seat dip in. I open my eyes, and look her way, "What's the matter?" "Wh- what were you doing in there? Did you actually kill someone?" Her wide eyes shine at me. I swallow the lump caught in my throat, and look away. Haa, those fucking eyes. "Yes," I reply glumly. She goes silent. Only the sound of her breathing can be heard. "How do you sleep at night knowing that you've murdered someone?" She huffs. "Like a god-damned baby," I shoot her a glare to sh
AurenFinally.Time for payback. I stand outside the building where Rheagar's men are supposedly hiding out. I turn to Raze, and give him a nod, "Go scope the place out with the others, and come give me report. I can't go in with cupcake over here," I tilt my head to Asha who's still sitting in the car. "Yes boss," he nods, heading towards the building with three of my other goons. "Do you think it's necessary to fight them back?" Asha's voice rings in my ears. I look over my shoulder, "What are you trying to imply?" "I'm just saying, I don't think it's necessary for you to pay him back. You could just let it go," she shrugs. A hint of a smile appears on my lips, "such an innocent little princess," I run my thumb over her lower lip, "I believe I have told you before, I'm a member of the underworld. This is my life, pumpkin." I grin just to infuriate her. Her face goes bright red, and she smacks my thumb off her lip, "So what will happen if you get killed? I h
Asha Auren's mind rushes with such perverted thoughts, despite myself, I feel the blood rushing down in my clit like crazy. I try to push those thoughts away, but his thoughts make it worse for me to concentrate. "You're not supposed to invade my personal space, young man! Rules are rules!" I squeal, blocking myself with my hands from his advances, but my heart races more with excitement than with fear. What would he really do to me? Does he really want to feel my skin against his? Will he go further than that? I shake my head in horror when I realize the bad influence his thoughts are having on me. He pulls away. I swallow hard, trying to cool my burning temperature, and tell my woman down there nothing's happening. Nothing's supposed to happen. "I—" A sudden wave of electric washes through my body. The hairs on the back of my neck, stand erect, my pupils blowing wide. You're mine, Asha. I won't stop until I claim you. Excuse me? You're mi
