Elizabeth screamed in her mind as she used every ounce of her willpower to move.
But there was no movement.
David didn’t lie when he said that the goros adrenaline pushes the human body past its limits. But it wasn’t this severe. With the help of the goros adrenaline, Elizabeth used her evolved gift multiple times to the point that it now became her default gift.
It didn’t mean that her evolved gift became her default gift that the exhaustion it gave would suddenly disappear. Once the goros adrenaline wore off, Elizabeth’s body had to take the brunt of the adrenaline and the constant usage of her gift.

The ability to manipulate psionic energy allows the user to be able to do anything. This is not a metaphor or figure of speech. Someone with enough control and psionic power can warp reality to fit their needs, no matter how crazy their desires are.
