Chapter Seven

I sighed before continuing walking. I am thinking about me being with the real family of my father. What will happen if I already know them? In my part, I want to meet them but on second thought, I’m worried for my mother. I heard a sound from a car behind me, I stopped when I saw the familiar car beside me. It runs slowly, looks like he’s following me. I cursed in my mind when I recognize the car, damn it! It’s him again. I didn’t respond to his call a while ago and now, he’s here. What a jerk.

“Hey, babe.” I rolled my eyes when he came out of his car. I didn’t respond to him, I continued walking. I pretend that I didn’t hear him, he keeps calling my name.

“Hey, babe! Let’s go, I know you don’t have class today. Let’s hang out,” he said, still I didn’t stop walking and didn’t turn my head to him. “Come’ n babe, I know you heard me. Let’s go.” see? He’s annoying. We’re not close and now he keeps bagging me.

I stopped and turned my head, “You know what? You are annoying. As far as I remember, I don’t have debt from you anymore. So, please. Give me peace,” I said and walk again.

"You're so harsh to me, I'm being friendly here." he bit his lower lip. I rolled my eyes at him. I don't care. "Or, let's have fun with my friends tonight? How about that?" he continued.

"How about, stop following me and stop everything you'll do. I don't want to see you," I coldly said.

"What if, I won't stop?" I rolled my eyes again and again. What the fuck he is? A stupid one? Why he didn't understand me that I don't want to see him!

"Look Mr. if you really want me to accept your offer, can you please give me some time? Stop annoying me, please. I am a busy person." I continued walking as I groaned when he stands in front of me.

"I can help you if you want? I don't have friends here, and I see the future that you'll be mine... forever." I stopped. I can hear the beeps of my heart, what the hell is happening? What is he talking about this time? This guy has really something and I can't explain what is it.

"Excuse me," I almost uttered the word. Shit, what is happening to me, really?

I need to find a new part-time, that's my priority right now. That guy is not on my plate of priorities. I won't let myself step into his life. I don't know him and I don't want to know him. There's something that I can't explain well when he's near at me.

I arrived at my destination where should I want to take my part-time job. It's a coffee shop. "I saw this outside, are you still looking for extra part-timers?" I asked the lady when she gets out of the shop. She looked at me. She grabbed the paper in my hand.

"Oh, I'm sorry Miss. It's already full. You're late." Then she turned her back at me. My shoulder went down, I almost want to surrender.

"Lose again?" I almost jumped when I heard a manly voice beside me. A smile plastered on his face.

"What now?" I asked. I started to walk again. What should I do now?

I can feel his presence again near me but I didn't bother to see him. He was about to say something when my phone rang. I answered the call from my mother.

"Mom," I said.

"Go home now, we have something to talk about." I didn't have a chance to say something when she already hanged up. I sighed.

"Problem?" I nodded to him. "Need someone?" he added.

"Bring me back to our house, my mother just called me," I said. He just agreed and did my favor without any words.
