FAZER LOGINA war for dominance breaks out between different species of werewolves but the superior device a means of survival. A forbidden affair unwinds secrets and brings the Amber family that once fell apart together. The child born of the forbidden affair between a Superior werewolf and a diva dominants the other creatures and restores harmony and coexistence.
Ver maisFuming in rage at losing my cub I had just given birth after a fierce fight with traitor omegas. With mixed emotions I seeked a diva to analiate, it was a full moon in the woods with bristle leaves of spring all scattered on the ground.
I gripped a diva in sight with my claws against its neck. I pressed on tightly, losing all my humanity from the pain. Ruthlessly, I plunged the claws of both hands and tore the creature apart.
I could see life exist in its body as I drew the head of its body.
I am Hernia, an alpha female werewolf born with the temper of a bull lock. Fine and graced with emotional tentacles, it's not visible but I was born with a high sense to dictate emotional signals, that was how I hunted.
Other wolves hunt with a sense of smell and tensed hearing ability.
This trait has always been in the family, a rare breed with superior instincts than other wolves.
Some call us superior alphas but this gift sure had a weakness, as much as we sensed emotions at high frequency we didn't have the ability to control those emotions, sometimes emotions overwhelmed us and we became vulnerable.
We were quite few lest as our species was haunted by a group of omegas, we called them old werewolves. Their species existed way before we began to evolve.
They were discovered to be haunted after half of our population was discovered to be going missing.
In fear some scattered and went into hiding.
But as they say together we stand strong and divided we fall. Those who scattered fell to their deaths.
My family formed a clan with the few wolves we had left of our species.
We stayed together traveling for greener pastures from places to places as we tried to survive.
Soon times evolved, that was when we discovered that other creatures existed like humans.
Humans had a surge of complex emotions, we settled in by blending in and soon began to study the humans.
Soon after we discovered that among the humans there were creatures that had no emotions, the humans would call them psychopaths.
To the humans they felt no emotions but to us they had the ability to help us control being overwhelmed by emotions.
We called them Divas.
We began to study Divas, we created a ritual called ‘Amend’ where each cub before being born was assigned a diva.
The mother wolf consumes the placenta of the diva when it is being born and the diva automatically becomes subject to her cub.
The diva gets drawn to the cub after it has been born.
Older divas of the parent werewolves groom the younger diva.
We found survival by coexisting in the same vein blending in with the humans.
There was just one rule, never fall in love with your diva or bear offspring for it.
We considered them vile ruthless creatures and together with our ability one doesn't know what will become of an offspring from both species.
In no time, we soon dominated the population as we were no longer endangered species.
My father Edwin Amber made sure to keep our people together. He was seen as the chief of the clan making our family royalty.
One fine afternoon, I walked out of my room caught by the noise of the commotion outside.
An argument had broken out between my father and his diva.
“ This is good news, we need to venture into the distant land and find them, this is the only chance we could have, any delay could cost us loss" my father said to his diva looking desperate and convinced.
“It is rash, we could be ambushed.
I can't let you be bait" he replied.
I leaned in further from where I stood hoping to know the root to the bone of contention.
“I have made up my mind Paul" that was his diva’s name.
My father entered his chambers after the argument and shut the door.
I wasn't the only one in confusion, people around noticed the flare between the two and I noticed the uneasy atmosphere.
I could feel the surge of complex emotions, my father was filled with hope, fear, anxiety, determination and some other emotions I couldn't dictate yet. But the strong sense of love engulfed all these emotions.
Paul gave signatures of fear and urge to protect.
The two had always been a pair since their awakening, so I heard.
I rushed to Paul's side trying to find out what happened, “ what made two love birds create a scene?
Is this one of your couples squabbles?"
He seemed to have not known I was referring to him, “ big uncle" . I finally called his attention where he stood searching for scrolls.
“Sweet chilly, it is nothing to worry your little head about, shouldn't you be at practice at this time?
What a lazy chilly” he said jokingly with a smile on his face, calling me by a pet name.
His facial expression finally settled my worry and I dismissed all my thoughts.
I decided to trust his words rather than his emotions.
" You two should get a room” I said jokingly walking away towards the practice grounds to meet up with my diva.
Practice was about team work, my diva and I, unlike my father and his diva, were like two weathers under one cloud, nobody gave way for the other.
~two hours from incidence~
I strolled down to the grounds hoping to meet my diva but I found no one at the grounds.
I searched each camp but it looked deserted.
I found a note on the floor, it had probably been swept there by the breeze.
I wasn't so good with letters so it took me a while to pick up the message. It said to go home and return when instruction is passed.
Feeling disappointed I groaned and shuffled my body to head back home.
On my way home I shuffled my legs on the ground and soon the thought of the argument resurfaced in my mind.
“ What could have brought the argument?
Did they discover something I didn't know about?" I snapped out of it while observing that the road was rather lonely. I should have met some students on my way.
I became uneasy but couldn't sense anything, not even a sound.
I decided to reroute taking a shortcut in the woods, getting closer I felt an emotion as that of a predator waiting for its prey.
I watched. Having no diva, I was at a vulnerable spot..I rushed back to the camp to grab a weapon, A sword was laying in our master’s chambers.
The danger seemed to have followed me to the camp, soon everywhere grew unusually foggy
I stood alert, having no sight I could only sense. So I felt an emotion of fear overwhelmed me…I was being projected with fear.
Whomever was my opponent knew I had no diva and so used the weakest of the emotions to ambush me
I struggled to avoid being overwhelmed but soon I lost control and began trembling.
A force came from behind but my sense of motion switched in…before the hit could close in I grabbed the opponent by the wrist with my
little claws and subdued him to the ground using my weight as leverage. I pinned him on the ground despite his struggles.
The king's face burned in pure awe as he approached, I could tell he was going to harm me. His emotions were of punctured ego and defeat. His sword rested on my shoulders, I felt his panting from the distance he stood. “I accept the results of this challenge and I promise to honor my word and grant your three wishes" he pausedPointing a sword to the crowd. I grew anxious not knowing his next intention “ But, we will feast and make merry with the animals from the hunt. You can appeal to me tomorrow." The people cheered upon hearing the king's decree. He moved closer to me at the position I knelt and whispered “you and your friend have gained my attention and so will no longer be prisoner" He called in the guards to show us where to freshen up and join the party and offered a seat at the official's table.…“I saw my dad in the woods" I whispered to Philip with a mouth full of meat chewing gently. His eyes bulged with surprise. He words as he chews. We both ate like starved dogs. “We
The man swung his sword into the air ready to strike me off.“Nooo!" A voice echoed from a distance plunging the man high into the air.Another beast, a werewolf. It roared at me and I immediately understood. “Get out of here" it said.I recognized that roar. My dad, how is he here? I sprang up with what strength I had left as I wondered. My healing ability kicked in, I limped as I took off and soon my body was in shape to run on both feet. I fled not looking back.I took the direction the elk had headed earlier.I soon felt its strong scent as it had bled heavily and sensed its fear and weakness. The beast lost its will to fight and was about to give up.I latch on the beast throat again and pin it to the ground. It wrestles continuously and I deepen my grip. Its horn gets caught up in the woods and its struggle lessens.I felt its vital artery as it steadied and lounged it out causing blood to splash all over the elk and on my face. The beast finally gives up. It soon goes cold and
I can not mess this up or Philip would die because of my foolishness.Phillip was dragged ruthlessly away from the spotlight. He didn't turn away from me. He kept his gaze on me till he was no longer in sight. My heart sank and guilt saturated my spirit. I shut my eyes trying to brush off the feeling. The king had now changed his outfit into a hunting suit. A dashing looking suit fit for a king, he wrapped his sword belt around his hip and then hung his bag of arrows on his shoulders.A horse was brought in, it looked very agile and healthy. “Nice horse" I said aloud to my hearing. I could feel the heat coming from the horse and it's heartbeat was super intense. Even the beast was more well fed than I was. I mustard every ounce of courage I had matched to the hunting field.I made one last eye contact with Constance and she gave me a thumbs up with a rather inconvenient smile.I returned the gesture masking my tension with a bolder smile.“I can do this" I muttered to myself with so
For a moment I feared there was danger. But it was only part of the display.“Kelvin wouldn't let them come without some kind of protection, I'm sure of that" he shook his head in disagreement.“I hope Constance is ok without me," he said, still moping in their direction.“Worry about her later, we need a plan to get closer to the lady" I drew Philip closer and he staggered before gaining balance. The drums beat repeatedly as the king made entrance sitting on a cart held by six men.The people cheered as he arrived. They matched gracefully to the best of the drums. The crowd grew silent when he got to the throne set at the designated area of the compound. The drum beat stopped. The air stood still and the king's aura spread to every angle. The number of guards tripled on his arrival. They all went on one knee.Heads bowed as the king stood tall at the foot of the throne. He looked heavily embodied with different regalia. His crown stood firmly on his head.He had his queen standing on
