My Decision

I went to the hospital to make sure that nothing happened to Lilian. She was taken to the ER to get an immediate help.

Justin and I were there, and we didn’t talk to each other at all except Justin kept looking at me with a cynical look.

“If something happens to Lilian and the baby, believe me your life will be at stake, Alexa!” Justin was angry at me.

“Did you know that Lilian started it first? She pushed me and I was just trying to find my balance. But she fell and—"

“Shut up! Do you think I’ll believe it, huh! You’re jealous of her and you don’t accept all this, right?”

“Why should I be jealous, you are a pair of traitors!” I can’t accept my anger.

Shouldn’t I be the one angry here? Why am I now being made the scapegoat for their actions?

“I will report you to the police station, you almost killed Lilian!” Justin shouted.

He even called the police to come immediately, and I started to panic because of this.

“What are you doing, Justin?”

“I will throw you in jail, Alexa. I don’t want to see your face here again. You know I’ve been sick of you for so long and I’ve been waiting for you to leave me for so long. But you’re so stupid that you never do it at all! Do you love me that much? You shameless woman!”

The doctor came out, it made Justin stopped his arrogant words. We both wanted to know about Lilian’s condition.

“How is the condition of my future wife and baby, Doctor?” Justin asked anxiously.

I just kept quiet and watched, because it was clear that I had no rights here.

“Everything is fine, Sir. Both the mother and the baby in the womb are in good condition. It’s just that she needs total rest for six weeks so that the condition of the fetus can be completely stable.”

Relief was what I felt, I felt very happy with the doctor’s words.

Meanwhile, Justin looked at me fiercely again until my smile immediately faded when I saw him.

“You will never be able to escape the clutches of the law!” Justin was angry.

The police came and then they immediately held both of my hands, I started to panic when they started dragging me. Until finally all the riots stopped right when Mr. Anrez came with his fierce facial expression.

“Stop, what are you doing with Alexa? Get away from Alexa’s body or I’ll make you regret it!” Mr. Anrez was angry.

The policemen saluted, and Justin immediately approached. I was sure that the man would be exaggerating about what happened.

“Mr. Anrez, what a coincidence to meet you here.”

“I was treated here, and I accidentally saw the commotion.”

Justin was silent for a moment. “I just want to give the woman, who almost killed my future wife and the baby she was carrying, what she deserves.”

Mr. Anrez looked back at Justin, then he clicked his tongue perfectly. “I don’t believe it, I know Alexa very well and she is not that kind of woman.”

Justin was shocked to hear that. And I immediately held Mr. Anrez. I thought being by Mr. Anrez’s side was what made me safe.

“Do you know Alexa, Mr. Anrez?”

“I already consider her as my own granddaughter.” Mr. Anrez replied. “So anyone who dares to deal with and hurt her will have to deal with me. Didn’t you say you wanted to put Alexa in jail? Just do it, then I will use the best lawyer in the world to fight you.”

Justin immediately knelt in front of Mr. Anrez after hearing that, then he lowered his face deeply.

“Forgive me, Mr. Anrez. I dare not do that. I… I was wrong with Alexa and I promise to withdraw my report.”

“Oh yeah? But I don’t think that’s necessary, from what I know, isn’t it the company’s rule that prohibits co-workers from having romantic relationships? And isn’t this woman one of my company’s employees?” asked Mr. Anrez just as Lilian left the room,

I looked back at Lilian who was extremely panicked, she tried to get down and kneeled in front of Mr. Anrez.

“Mr. Anrez, please forgive us. We didn’t mean to break any company rules, we—”

“Decide one of you to leave or both of you will be fired from your jobs!”

They both looked at each other again, their faces turned pale. Until finally Lilian raised her hand.

“I will resign from my job, Mr. Anrez.”

Justin glared at Lilian, I was sure that the man would never accept it. Earning money on his own was hard work for Justin, and I knew that their relationship would not be okay soon.

“Okay, I hope you can pack your things tomorrow.”

“Alright, Sir.”

Lilian lowered her head dejectedly, while Justin still felt that this was something unacceptable.

I immediately asked Mr. Anrez to leave, and it turned out that in the corner of my eye Nathan was standing silently to witness everything that had happened.

After I brought Mr. Anrez into his room to rest, Nathan looked at me with that smile of his.

“How is it? Wouldn’t your life be almost a mess if Grandpa wasn’t there, Miss?” Nathan asked.

I swallowed my saliva with difficulty, because what Nathan said was true. If Mr. Anrez hadn’t been there, I would have been in prison.

“Even my offer is still the same, which is to get married, I hope you don’t waste this opportunity. After we get married, you can work in the company, you can take revenge and do whatever you want freely. What do you think? Don’t you want to avenge all the hurt you’ve felt so far, Miss Kyle?”

Both of my hands clenched tightly, of course I felt resentful and hurt by everything that happened. It was unacceptable and this was a cruel and unfair thing. After I thought about it carefully, I immediately looked at Nathan, then I nodded my head perfectly.

“Okay, I will marry you, Young Master Anrez. And please help me take revenge for everything Justin has done to me. I can’t accept it, and I’m hurt. Both Justin and Lilian must pay for everything appropriately.”

Nathan smiled, then he approached me. My body was embraced quite possessively, then he grinned in front of me. My chin was pulled perfectly and his lips almost devoured mine for real.

“It all depends on how you can satisfy me, Miss Kyle. Do you want to do it?” he whispered right in my ear.
