Chapter Sixty Four

Christopher pressed another button and they could hear what Cindy was saying. "If you don't come out here and answer me then, I will not move an inch!!" They heard Cindy say. Christopher and Rose looked at each other when she said that.

"This girl is so shameless!! How can she make such a scene here? Did she forget that her father is the Vice President of this country?" Rose said shaking her head.

"She is just stupid, there is no other adjective to qualify her!" Christopher added.

Cindy was still shouting for Christopher to come out and talk to her. Meanwhile, people in the mall were already taking videos of her. "Christopher!!! I am giving you two minutes to come here or I will do something drastic!!" Cindy shouted looking around the mall.

At that moment, some worker had gone to stop her. "Please, ma! You need to stop. You are disturbing other customers in the mall." The girl who walked to her said.

"It is your mother that you are talking to. If you know what is good for you then you better get Christopher and your boss out here.!!" Cindy said and pushed the lady away.

The force she used to push her landed her on the floor. At that moment, another lady who was dressed in a formal attire caught the lady before she could fall to the ground. After steading the lady who had walked to Cindy, she face Cindy and said. "Good morning ma, I am the P.A. to the boss and I am here to tell you that if you don't stop disturbing other customers we will have to ask you to leave.!"

"You will ask who to leave? Me?" Cindy asked pointing to her chest. "Do you know who you are talking to? I am Cindy Coker and I can do whatever I want. If you don't get Christopher and your boss here in a minute then you all should not blame me." She added.

"Ma, we don't care who you are. We treat customers equally and we can't allow you to disturb other people from getting what they want. If you don't stop then, I will have to ask you to leave." The P.A said and calmly as possible.

"Even your father cannot move me from this place!! If I don't see Christopher then, I will not leave this place." She said.

"Then you leave me no choice ma'am!! You have to leave!" The personal assistant to Rose said.

"Make me leave if you can!!" Cindy shouted angrily. "Christopher!!!" She called out. "I know you can see me. Just come out here and tell me in front of all these people that there was nothing between us. You are my fiancee and I will not leave this place unless you come out!!" She added.

While she was shouting, The lady who was talking to her had given a signal to the bodyguards around and they walked towards Cindy. "I am sorry ma but you have to leave right now!!" The bodyguard who came to her said and started to guide her towards the exit.

"Leave me alone!!! Don't you dare touch me!!" She shouted and slapped the guard. "Don't ever try to touch me again!!" She added. "I am The fiancee to Christopher and there is nothing anybody can do. If he doesn't come out now then I will tell then the kind of lady you married." She shouted.

"What kind of lady did he marry?" Someone asked.

Everyone had been concentrating on Cindy and they didn't notice when Rose walked in. When she spoke, she got the attention of everyone present including Cindy. "You Prostitute!!!" Cindy shouted and rushed towards Rose. "Where is my fiancee!!"

Before she could get to Rose, someone blocked her and said, "sorry but, you can't get too close to her."

"Get out of my way you imbecile!! That thing there stole my fiancee. I need to teach her a lesson she will never forget in her life.!" Cindy said and struggled to bypass the bodyguard.

"Let her come!" Rose said. The bodyguard looked at Rose and she nodded her head at him.

People had already recognized Rose so the excitement had increased. Everyone was curious to know what will happen and some wanted to know what kind of person Rose was. Cindy walked to where Rose was standing and pointed her finger at Rose then said. "Where is Christopher!? I want to see him and not you... Get him here right now!!"

"If there is anything you have to say to him then you can say it to me. Christopher has other important things to do than to attend to you." Rose answered her with a calm face. She never had the intention of appearing in front of the public so soon but, while they were watching Cindy from her office, she became angry. Christopher wanted to ask his people to throw her out but Rose decided to just take care of Cindy once and for all besides, she won't be able to hide from the public forever.

"I don't have the time to talk to a prostitute like you!! I want to see my fiancee and not you!! Get Christopher out here, right now!!" Cindy shouted. She was so angry she still didn't remember the warning her father gave to her in the morning.

Rose shook her head at Cindy and asked. "Who Is your fiancee??"

"Christopher is mine.!! He is my fiancee and we will get married if you like it or not.!!" Cindy answered.

"Oh!!" Rose exclaimed and then laughed. "Are you still hung up on this fiancee issue??" She asked. "Well, sorry to burst your bubble. How can a married man be your fiancee?"

People who were watching were already talking at that moment. "This lady is so shameless!" Someone among the crowd shouted.

"See vice president pikin!! That's why Nigeria just dey anyhow!!" Another person added.

"He was engaged to be before you came from God knows where with that child of yours and stole him from me!!" Cindy Shouted not minding what people were saying.

"Sorry but, he is married to me!! If I remember well, he never proposed to you. You proposed to yourself so you don't have to come here and create such a scene. It doesn't suit your image. It only makes you look desperate." Rose said and half of the crow nodded in support of what Rose said. They all know that her engagement with Christopher was announced by Cindy and Mr. Allen

"I don't have anything to say to you. Let Christopher come here and tell it to my face that there was nothing between us!! Besides, you are only with him for his money!!" Cindy said. She was trying everything possible to make Rose look bad.

"Newsflash!! My husband already told the world that he came after me and not the other way round. When you were here desperately proposing to yourself, he was trying to get me to come here. What does that tell you?" Rose asked. "Anyways, I know you don't understand a lot of things. Christopher is my husband and there is nothing you can do about that!! If you are not happy then, you can do whatever you like. Or, get yourself married after all you proposed to yourself!" Rose said and that got people laughing.

Cindy's expression turned ugly when she heard what Rose said. "You!!!" She shouted while pointing at Rose.

"What!? Did I say anything bad??" Rose asked. "I was only being realistic. You came here today because you wanted to see Christopher. Right? This just shows how desperate you are. You are the daughter of the Vice President of this country and you don't mind chasing married men around. Is that what you were thought??" Rose added.

"That's loud!!" Somebody from the crowd shouted and that got everyone laughing.

"If you are desperate then, I am single and searching. Just come to me!" Another person added.

"Yes!! I am married but I don't mind having you as a second wife!!" Someone else added.

Cindy felt like tearing Rose apart when people kept ridiculing her Like that. "Where is Christopher?? I don't have anything to discuss with you!!" Cindy said.

"Didn't you hear what my wife just said? I am a busy person and I don't have time for useless things. Are you waiting for me to throw you out!?" Christopher who was watching their exchange from Rose's office got tired and came down to end their talk and throw Cindy out.

When Cindy saw Christopher, she wanted to rush to him but was blocked by Rose. "What do you think you want to do?" Rose asked.

"Get out of my way bitch!!" Cindy shouted and tried pushing Rose away.

Immediately her hand touched Rose, she pushed Cindy away and cleaned where Cindy had touched her. "I hate how you smell and I have told you countless times that I don't want you coming too close to me.!" Rose said and made a disgusting face.

"How does she smell.? I have heard you saying she smells bad but I don't know how bad. Is it like a rotten fish??" Christopher asked.

"Jesus!! Rotten fish too much na!!" Someone among the people who had been watching said and that got everyone laughing. A celebrity that was even making a live video on his I*******m handle wrote under it. 'V.P. pikin get body odor!!'

When Cindy couldn't handle the humiliation anymore, she tried attacking Rose but was stopped by the bodyguards. "I will be back for and you will pay dearly for this embarrassment!!" She shouted and rushed out of the mall. Immediately she walked away. Some reporters followed her out. The ones who stayed behind started to question Rose and Christopher.

"How did your wife get into the mall and we didn't see her. What is her name and the name of your daughter??"

Rose and Christopher looked at each other for a while without saying anything. Rose wanted to keep a low profile for that wouldn't be possible anymore. She had no choice but to talk because she knows that, the press will do everything possible to find out things if she doesn't satisfy their curiosity.
