A week had passed since that sickening incident … and Elora could still feel the intoxicating touch, which left a trace of disgust, from the mysterious man's lips. Yes, Elora hates the fact that she hasn't gotten over it yet. As well as the fact that what he was done had awakened a trauma. Something horrible that Elora had been trying to bury deeply in recent years.
Elora exhaled as she looked at the pile of work on her desk. Her job as Creative Director at an advertising company never gave Elora time to just breathe and enjoy life. But her job can be fun sometimes … so it doesn’t really matter.
Dreamcatcher, the name of the company where Elora worked, was at its prime. This advertising agency is well-known for giving out unconventional advertising concepts to their clients. Every advertisement that is produced always gone viral among the Kiwis, the name for the New Zealand people, even in neighboring countries.
And the person behind it all is Elora. Yes, it's teamwork, but Elora is the biggest contributor to ideas in every advertising concept offered to clients.
Elora never fails to satisfy clients with crazy ideas about how to advertise a product according to consumer desires. This made Elora the golden child in the office. And because she is the golden child, her personal life is in the spotlight too. Including the matter of phobia to touch or get an intense gaze from men.
But that's not the only thing that makes Elora famous. She is also known for the duality of her appearance. When meeting prospective clients, Elora will transform into a goddess, with feminine and fashionable clothes, perfect makeup, and silk hair that is always fragrant and neat, and she never forgets to wear perfume.
However, if she is in the mode of working on a project, or after getting a client and Elora has to think hard to actualize the crazy concept she offers, Elora will turn into an ugly duckling.
Not the kind of less sociable duck, who wear thick-lensed glasses, have their hair tied back and walk their head down as if regretting their existence in the world. Elora will become a duck who is ignorant of herself and the views of other people around her.
And apparently, Elora’s bad duck version seems to be the worst this time.
Elora was sitting behind her enormous desk, in a private study that had the words "Creative Director" printed in bold white on the frosted glass door, when her assistant, a young man named Javier came in carrying a file.
Javier is the only opposite sex who can be close around Elora, without Elora feeling uncomfortable or anxious. Elora folded her arms across her chest when she saw Javier wrinkled his nose as he looked at Elora with pity.
"Say it," growled Elora, her eyes defiant.
"You stink," said Javier. His mouth doesn't have any sensors, and Elora doesn't know why she likes this type of person. He is what he is. Maybe if Javier is straight, Elora will propose to him.
"Isn't it a week too long not to shower?" Actually, Javier's question was a joke, but Elora took it seriously.
"It looks like I'm going to take a shower this afternoon," muttered Elora, who returned to the laptop screen to check the ad video that had gone through the editing process.
Javier almost dropped the file. "You … haven't showered for a week?"
Elora stretched her fingers and started counting. "The night after coming home from the club, I took a shower. So, six days."
"Germs ... skin diseases ... fleas ... disgusting."
"Thank you." Elora nodded, considering the list of consequences of not showering that Javier said just now as a compliment.
"So, what are you carrying?" Elora pointed to the file Javier now placed on the table.
"This is the result of the meeting about the underwear advertisement that we will be working on." Javier passed the file over Elora's laptop, and Elora accepted it.
“Last time we had a hard time finding a male model that fits the advertising concept right? Is there a model already?"
"Yes, thank God we got it. I admit your idea was never sane. But this one … it’s just too wild. Luckily a model willing to do it." Javier breathed a sigh of relief as if he had passed a very tough life test.
Elora opened the folder and started rereading the details of the concept and anything else that was needed. "But our client agrees with my idea. So it doesn't matter," She said.
Elora paused when she saw a photo of the model they were going to hire. She blinked several times. It wasn't that the male model was wearing only underwear, which exposed his perfectly athletic body. Not because of the handsome and fierce face, with the thick eyebrows and sharp eyes. But because … Elora seemed to have seen him. She does not know where. Maybe in an ad that is shown on television.
"When will we shoot this ad?" Elora asked after closing the file folder and putting it on the table.
"This afternoon. Actually ... in one hour."
"Okay. Call me when it's time."
Javier opened his mouth, he looked doubtful. "You're ... not getting ready?"
"Hm? Get ready for what?"
"That ... you know that now you look pathetic?"
Elora lowered her head to see the clothes she was wearing. Crumpled black t-shirt combined with a plaid flannel shirt. Ripped jeans and a pair of worn brown sneakers. Elora's hair, which is black and the ends are given a pink highlight, is tied in a ponytail. Her face was plain without makeup, Elora didn't even put on lip balm.
"There is something wrong?" Elora tilted her head. Not taking a shower for six days wasn't a problem for her. Yes, just for her. For everyone else, of course, this is a big problem. "We have no schedule to meet clients or prospective clients this week, right? Just executing a few ad projects?”
“Yes … but we're going to meet a model, El. The model is someone from outside the office. You can ruin the company's image if you appear looking like this.”
Elora opened her desk drawer roughly and grabbed a bottle of perfume that was only a quarter in content. She sprayed it randomly to several parts of her body. "There you go! Now I smell good."
"El—"
“I'm not going anywhere near the model, okay? If all goes well I'll be going. I entrust the implementation to you."
Javier exhaled, he sounded annoyed and tired. "In one hour, studio three."

Elora took the time to buy a cup of coffee in the cafeteria, before heading to studio three which is located one floor below her room. Elora knew that every people she passed by, greeted Elora half-heartedly while shrinking their nostrils. They certainly knew that when Elora like this, it means that she has a big project to do.
Elora pressed the elevator button and waited for the elevator to slide down. When the elevator doors opened, Elora grunted happily that everyone in there had left, leaving Elora alone to go upstairs.
Elora turned around after reaching the corner of the elevator and caught her breath.
A man turned out to come in with her.
He's … that model, right?
*
Wait a minute… he is the guy who kissed Elora at the nightclub a week ago.Elora tried to hide her face behind a plastic coffee cup, which is useless, and pushed herself further into the corner. Elora hopes to melt with the elevator wall or disappear suddenly from this small box.As the man entered, their eyes met, and Elora remembered him immediately. A pair of fluorescent cobalt blue eyes. Elora thought he was wearing contact lenses that night, but that seems to be the true color of his eyes. Beautiful … and cold."Do I know you?" The man asked, his voice devoid of interest. Maybe he had been dealing with girls a lot, so he acted as if he had no interest in Elora. He should have realized that Elora had no interest in conversation either.Elora didn't immediately answer the question, she looked down and raised her coffee glass to cover the exposed corner of her face."No," answered Elora, hesitantly.Instead of moving away or
The commercial shooting went smoothly and really caught the attention of everyone who saw it. Of course, Caspian's athletic body covered only in underwear, a briefcase, and a pair of work shoes was a sight that no one could resist, even for the men."So you're taking a time off?" asked Havier. Elora had returned to her room shortly after filming was over. And as usual, Havier never knocked on the door when he entered Elora's room. Elora, who was tidying up her desk at work, complained in the form of a sigh, then she muttered 'yes'.“I just found out that time off can be accumulated like that. How much leave do you get? One month, two months?"Since working at Dreamcatcher, Elora never took a time off or sick leave. Except at that time … even then Elora got in faster than she should have.Elora's stamina and dedication to her job are truly extraordinary. Maybe that, and also her ability to always make their clients satisfied, makes Elora's bos
At first, Elora thought Caspian was committing an act of vandalism with his friends. Because the others looked as fierce as he was, some even carried iron clubs and sharp weapons that sparkled silver when caught in the headlights of Elora's car.But then that guess was broken when one of them started attacking Caspian. Caspian fended off the attacks that came crashing down on him. Elora, who watched it all from behind the wheel, could only tremble with fear. She put the gear back and began to push the gas as deep as she could. But damn, nothing happened. The car broke down again at the wrong time.Damn old car. Now, what should she do? Just running out of the car for help? Not a chance. Only this vehicle that Elora has and without the car Elora will be overwhelmed.Elora's legs shook even more when she realized that one of the Caspian thugs was walking over to her. Elora made sure the car was locked, and as the person got closer, Elora could hear the soun
Every full moon night, Elora always has the same dream. She walked on an endless meadow, surrounded by spiky-tipped mountains. A familiar sight, one that Elora used to see in Queenstown. But no matter how far Elora went, the meadow was never-ending … as if it had no edge. There was no one Elora could meet. No life, no sound. Only herself with a huge moon whose silver light was blinding. But … tonight's dream was different.Elora is not alone. She was still the same, standing in the middle of the meadow, wearing a white dress, which swept the rocks under her feet. Her hair was loose, all black. The moonlight was still just as dazzling, but there was a figure that caught Elora's attention.Someone was standing not far in front of her. Bathed in light. Her hair was silver and shimmering, her eyes were the same color. her whole body was covered in a dress made of something clear, wavy, like a gem made of water. The woman smi
Caspian returned with Elora's bag, a large white shirt, and jeans."Don't come any near," Elora ordered. "Throw them all on the couch." Elora pointed at the sofa in front of her with her chin.Caspian chuckled as he cocked his head to one side. "What now? I won't attack you. I promised. ""I don't believe you." Even to any man in the world, Elora added to herself.Caspian made a face that said 'I'm tired of this drama, but I'd better go along with it', then threw everything on the sofa near Elora.“Now get out of here. I want to get dressed."“I've seen you without clothes before. Why do I have to leave now?”"JUST GET OUT OF HERE!" Elora snapped, and brutally grabbed her bag, looking for pepper spray. Caspian raised both hands in a sign that he was giving up. "Okay, okay. I will go."He turned around, but then came back again. “The shirt must be big because it's mine. But the pants are your size…
Elora asked Caspian to take her to the apartment because Elora had just remembered that she had to prepare herself. She will meet potential clients, and this will be her last job before Elora takes a leave. So Elora must be able to make it a success.Actually, this was a bad idea because Caspian will know where Elora lived. But Elora had no other choice."Thank you. You can go home." Elora said it while opening the car door. Of course, Caspian didn't let her go that easily. He caught Elora's wrist, making Elora stop.Elora turned to look at Caspian's fingers wrapped around her wrists.“Let go,” Elora hissed through gritted teeth."I have something important to tell you.""What?" Elora jerked her hand away from Caspian's grip."If anything happens, call me immediately."Elora took a moment to answer the question. “Thanks, but I have friends to rely on.”“Your friend won't be able to handle it
"Sorry, but I'm not a model," said Elora quickly. It didn't take her much deliberation to outright reject Caspian's idea.Caspian crossed his arms, casually giving Elora an appraising look. Elora didn't like the faint sneer in Caspian's eyes when he did that."As clients, we have the right to ask for whatever we want, right?" said Caspian."Yes, you have the right. But we can't fulfill everything, especially if it's deemed impossible." Elora corrected.Caspian now directed the conversation to Charlie. "Tell me, Charlie. Was my request just now not possible?” Caspian let out a thin, barely perceptible grin after asking that.Charlie gulped, then the corner of his eye caught Elora's figure for a moment. Elora knew Charlie couldn't make a decision right away. If they refuse, they might lose clients. If Charlie agreed, he had to be prepared for Elora's wrath. Elora did not hesitate to protest at her boss when she found herself placed in an unreas
No touch. The scenario is determined entirely by Dreamcatcher. If the female model feels uncomfortable with the scene being performed, she has the full right to request a scene change. The last point is just in case Caspian improvises the script that has been prepared by Elora.Without much debate, Caspian's side immediately agreed to the terms. Shortly after the two sides signed the agreement, Caspian and Zed leave the building.Elora didn't know if she should breathe a sigh of relief or if this will be the beginning of the heavy stress she would face for the next few days. Elora immediately returned to the room and sat slumped in her chair."One week, El," Javier corrected when Elora explained that she was too lazy to imagine the days she would have to spend as a model with Caspian."No. At most, we will only visit three places right?” Elora flinched and quickly denied Javier's statement.“Do you realize that the
