LOGINDaniel's POV: Flashback: Day Kwen left... Thoughts raced through my mind as I walked the halls, preparing myself for a conversation I didn't even know how to start. I went back and forth in my head trying to figure out what I wanted to say. Before I knew, I was standing in front of her door. My hand twitched with the feeling of wanting to knock, but my fear kept me from it. All my panic was for nothing. I must've forgot who my sister was. Next thing I knew, her door opened and I was met with her tired, green eyes. She looked up at me. "Hi, Danny." "Hey, Kwen." We said nothing for a long while. She's looked down at my hand. She saw my fingers tremble. Kwen sighed softly before she reached out and grabbed my hand. I was startled by her touch at first, then I quickly wrap my hand around hers. "I am so sorry." That was all I could muster up to say. "I know you are, Danny. It's ok. I'm ok." I shook my head. "No, it's not and you're not. You had every right to be pissed off at me.
Lisa's POV: Thanks to my daughter, I've been heavily watched and under lock and key. My father raged in, with an anger he's never displayed before. I was so shocked, as well as Adona, when he hauled off and hit me. Flashback: A day before the council meeting... It was early evening. I had gone downstairs to eat dinner. I got tired of being cooped up in my room and decided that I would have dinner in the dining room. Adona has never been outright terrible to me, and she extended the offer for me to have meals with them. When I went down, it was the first time I've seen Ava's mother, Ave, in a long while. She's always been in "the wind" to me. She's never stayed put in a singular place for as long as I could remember, but she was here. The room was silent, as the clinking of silverware hit the plates they ate from. I walked in and their heads rose. Ave had her dark brown hair clipped back, but her hair fought, with some laying messily around her face. She had fan bangs, that her wate
Kwen's POV:I had gotten up and made breakfast for the guys and myself after that crazy dream I had. I've felt out of sorts since. I didn't know what to make of what I saw or dreamt... or whatever the hell that was. All I knew is that I was unsettled. Kyle and Elias went on a 5 mile run which should be pretty easy to do considering they aren't surrounded by trees and sticks. Where my mom's house is, it isn't in a hill stricken place. So their run should be a breeze. I went out back, needing to clear my mind. The cooling autumn air felt good against my skin. I stole my mom's large, burnt orange sweater shirt and paired it with black yoga pants. The fabric was very soft and the sleeves long. I was no longer swimming in her clothing. The sweater fit me just right. I sat out by the garden that sat close to the house and behind a small wall of stones that outlined the length of the garden. My silver locks were up and pulled away from my face in a messy bun, while a few tresses found their
Heather's POV: Prince Cersai gave me the go-ahead to head to the royal pack. When I arrived, I was met at the entrance of the mansion-like packhouse. A large, burley man stood atop the steps. He had beautiful brown skin, full beard, stern yet kind brown eyes and a shiny bald head. Handsome. I stepped out the car and felt his power roll down the stairs. My eyes met his and like always, his soul was on full display for me. He has a hard exterior- most likely the quiet type. He had a strong but gentle soul. Very clear, which indicated that he has and expresses clear boundaries and morals. Good. I walked up the steps. He reached a hand out for me to shake. "You must be Heather." I nodded, accepting his gesture. "I am beta Andrew. Please follow me. His majesty will be leaving shortly, but he wants to discuss a few things with you first. We must be quick." I nodded. He escorted me inside. I've been to the royal pack only once before in my life, but the grandeur of it still amazes
Brandon's POV:Since that disaster of a conversation I had with Kwen, where Cersai and I both shoved our foot down our throats, I've been completely out of it. I've come to the conclusion that I should probably just give up. The harder I try to fix things, the worse they become. I'm not exactly sure how I was able to help raise my other two children when I'm clearly incompetent. Considering how things are with all of my children, I can't really say that I did all that well with them either. It's been about a day and half since Kwen, Kyle and Elias have gone. Kyle has kept me updated on their transport and that they've made it safely. He said she seemed happy. He even sent a picture of her and Eli putting away food, picking on each other like they've always done. Some relief came from that, but I hate the fact that in order for her to be happy she has to separate herself from here... from me.Lately, I haven't been able to sleep. Her tear streaked face plagues my dreams and I wake up
Kwen's POV:I sat on my bed and picked my phone up to check the time. It was about 4:30 in the morning. I sat the phone down and picked the book up. I crossed my legs and laid the book on my lap, gently wiping my hand across the front cover. As if the book knew I was ready to recieve what was inside, it began to glow. I took a deep breath and went to open it to the first page. As I shifted the book to open, it's as if the book had a mind of its own. The pages flipped to mid book. I sat in shock as they kept flipping, until it stopped. I cautiously rested my hands on the pages. They glowed a bright golden color. Slowly, the words went from a golden color and turned a bright red. As soon as I was about to removed my hands, I felt sucked into the pages....I was breathing heavily, my heart racing. I looked around and found myself in a forest. The sun was up but setting. Through the branches, I saw a figure peering out at me. He was large. He had amber eyes that were piercing. He had bla
Conner's POV:20 years ago:I prepared for my meeting with the new alpha of Blackcresent Moon pack, that's to be held in about a week or so. His father and mother, the former alpha and luna, just recently stepped down from their roles, as their son just found his mate. He found her around 23 or 24
I tried to relax myself, but I couldn't keep my hands from trembling. From the call my son took a day or so ago, and the calamity I saw in his eyes at the words being spoken to him. To the cool breeze that drifted all throughout the palace halls, that calls for unwanted memories to occur. All of it
I wanted nothing more than to reach out and grab Kwen up in my arms. Reign whined for her. We hated to see her cry. She looked so broken, sitting on her father's lap, silently crying. I barely heard any of what was said. My sole focus was her. When Kwen finally came to, she stood and I could see th
Gin's POV:"What will we do if someone comes looking for her? Her wounds are serious, which means whoever did it was trying to kill her."My mate said, matter-of-factly. I looked at her. Her clear blue eyes always pierced my soul. Her long, straight, white hair was pulled back into a high ponytail,
