Zane Valerian Blackhowl’s POV

Power is not given. It is taken, earned through blood and fear.

I was not born to be merciful. I was born to rule.

The world bows to the strong, and I made sure that no one dared challenge my reign. From the moment I ascended the throne, I crushed rebellions before they could breathe, silenced enemies before they could speak, and made it clear—weakness had no place in my kingdom.

Yet, despite countless warnings, the Alpha of Dimlight Pack—a pitiful excuse for a leader—chose to defy our laws. His pack was the smallest, insignificant in the grand scheme of our empire, but foolish enough to believe they could play by their own rules.

Disobedience was not tolerated.

So, I sent my warriors.

They swept through the pack like a storm, eliminating threats with ruthless precision. The so-called Alpha was slain, his warriors either executed or imprisoned. The omegas—weak and trembling—were deemed useless, except for a few. Some were captured, others left to perish.

It was a necessary reminder. A lesson burned into their bones.

And now, the captives were being brought to me.

Another group of slaves—like all the others. They would beg, they would cry, they would break.

Because in my kingdom, only the strong survived.

A warrior entered the throne room and bowed before the Lycan King.

“All the captured warriors have been sent to the dungeon, Your Highness,” he reported. “As for the women, most of them are omegas, but there are exceptions.”

Zane arched a brow, showing little interest until the warrior continued.

“One of them is a beta’s daughter, and another is an alpha’s fiancée. She is also an alpha’s daughter.”

That caught his attention.

“They both requested to meet you,” the warrior added.

A moment of silence followed as Zane leaned back in his throne, his golden eyes gleaming with intrigue.

“An alpha’s daughter… a beta’s daughter…” he mused, a slow smirk curving his lips. “Interesting.”

With a flick of his fingers, he dismissed the warrior. “Bring them in. Let’s see what they have to say.”

The two women were brought before the throne, their bodies trembling as they immediately dropped to their knees.

The warrior sneered, his voice laced with contempt. “Keep your heads low, bitches.”

Their heads bowed even lower, fear evident in their every movement.

“We are ready to do anything, Your Highness,” the beta’s daughter pleaded, her voice shaking. “Please… spare our lives.”

The alpha’s fiancée quickly echoed her plea. “We will obey. Whatever you command, we will do.”

Zane leaned forward slightly, amusement dancing in his golden eyes as he studied them. Their fear pleased him.

After a brief pause, he smirked and gave a simple command.

“Send them to my chamber tonight. Prepare them.”

"I am 26 years old. My mother abandoned me and my father when I was just a toddler… for another man. A despicable woman. Weak and selfish. Since then, I have hated weak people. They disgust me."

His golden eyes gleamed with something dangerous as he leaned back in his throne, lost in thought.

"After my mother left, my father—once a powerful ruler—became mentally unstable. He was no longer fit to lead, no longer the strong warrior he once was. I was just a boy, but I uihad to take charge. I had to survive."

A cruel smirk tugged at his lips.

"My uncle helped me grow, shape me into the man I am today. Strength is all that matters. Power. Control. Fear."

His fingers drummed against the armrest, his voice dropping to a low growl.

"I don't believe in love. I don’t trust women. They are tools, nothing more. And anyone who dares challenge me… will break beneath me."

The room fell silent, his presence alone enough to suffocate those who dared to stand before him.

The night was still, but inside my chambers, the air was thick with unspoken fear. The two women stood before me, their heads bowed, their hands trembling at their sides.

Pathetic.

I leaned back against the massive bed, my golden eyes scanning them with indifference. They knew why they were here. There was no need for flowery words or false pretenses.

“Strip,” I commanded, my voice calm but absolute.

They hesitated for a fraction of a second before their fingers fumbled with the fabric of their dresses. The scent of fear clung to them, sharp and desperate. I drank it in. I didn’t tolerate weakness, but submission? Submission pleased me.

I watched them, unblinking, as they bared themselves before me. They had no choice. No power. They belonged to me tonight, just like the many before them. And like the many who would come after.

I didn’t offer comfort. I didn’t pretend to care. I took what I wanted, how I wanted. Their bodies tensed under my touch, but I didn’t stop. I never stopped. This was who I was—the Lycan King, the ruler of power, the taker of all things.

When I was done, I rolled off the bed, pulling on a robe as I reached for a glass of whiskey. The amber liquid burned down my throat, smooth and intoxicating.

Behind me, the women still lay there, breathless and spent. I didn’t need to look at them to know what was in their eyes. Hope. The same false hope all women had when they left my bed.

Pathetic.

“Get out,” I said coldly, not sparing them another glance.

They scrambled to gather their clothes, their movements quick and silent. I could feel their disappointment, their crushed dreams of something more.

They always thought bedding me meant something. That I would claim them. Make them my Luna.

I smirked, shaking my head as I poured another drink.

"Women always take false hope that I will make them my Luna."

I downed the whiskey in one go, letting the fire settle in my veins.

Foolish creatures.

I didn’t need a Luna. I never would.

  • Lycan king and his Omega   Epilogue

Five Years Later Five years had passed. The shadows of the past were now distant echoes, barely audible beneath the laughter of children and the warmth of a home built on strength, sacrifice, and unshakable love. Zane, my mate — the once-feared Lycan King — had become not just a ruler, but a symbol of prosperity and power across the realm. His empire stretched beyond borders, his businesses flourished, and yet… every night, no matter how far he roamed or how high he rose, he always came home. To me. To us. I had walked every step beside him — as his Queen, his partner, his home. And now, we weren’t just two anymore. “Mom!” Valen’s voice rang through the garden, filled with youthful command, so much like his father. Our firstborn, now ten, had inherited Zane’s piercing eyes, his firm jawline, and his natural ability to lead. Even at such a young age, the other pups in the royal pack followed him without question. He ran toward me, his golden-brown curls bouncing, carrying his li

The Whispering Lake The moment the Priestess confirmed the existence of Selaria’s scattered essence, Zane didn’t hesitate. “We’re not waiting for Malrik to haunt her again,” he growled. “We’ll find it. All of it. In three days.” Autumn looked into his eyes — fierce, protective, determined. “Then we start now.” Their first stop was the Whispering Lake, an ancient place where the Priestess claimed the first fragment of Selaria’s power slept beneath the waters, guarded by the spirits of the moon. The journey was quiet but heavy with unspoken emotions. Zane held her hand as they reached the shimmering lake, its surface still as glass under the early morning light. As Autumn stepped into the shallows, the water glowed beneath her feet. A low hum rose from the depths, echoing with forgotten words. “I feel her,” she whispered. “Like a song in my bones…” The lake's spirit, a glowing figure of silver mist, emerged. “You who carry the heart of Selaria, are you ready to bear

  • Lycan king and his Omega   Awakening selaria's help

Autumn didn’t wait a second. Her heartbeat roared like war drums in her chest as she burst out of the palace gates, her hands still trembling from the ancient book she’d read in the royal library. Her feet pounded the ground like thunder, her breath quickening with every step. The sky above was heavy with clouds, but the real storm churned inside her. She needed answers. She needed hope. She needed to end this, before Malrik’s darkness consumed not just her dreams — but her soul. The temple gates stood tall, old and silent, as if carved from time itself. She shoved them open, nearly collapsing on the cold stone floor. The white-robed Priestess stood before the moon altar, as though she had been waiting. "Priestess!" Autumn cried out, her voice breaking. "I read it... I saw everything. About Selaria. About Bella. About Malrik." The Priestess turned, her ancient eyes filled with a mixture of sorrow and wisdom. “You carry the weight of many lives, child.” Autumn staggered forwar

Autumn’s POV The name wouldn’t leave my mind. Selaria. It whispered through my bones like an old song, buried and broken, but still alive. I couldn’t sleep anymore—not until I understood what it meant. Who she was… who I might be. After breakfast, I slipped away from the palace and headed toward the old royal library. It was an abandoned place now, thick with dust and silence, but the Priestess once mentioned that the truth of this kingdom lies where most fear to look—in forgotten ink. I moved quietly through the vast hallways lined with ancient tomes, their spines cracked, their secrets sealed for centuries. My fingers brushed over leather covers, brittle scrolls, and weathered stone shelves. I didn’t even know what I was looking for—until I saw it. A half-torn book, its cover scorched and faded. Title etched in blood-colored ink: “The Cursed Bloodline: History of the Black Lycan.” My heart skipped. I pulled it out with trembling hands, sitting cross-legged on the

  • Lycan king and his Omega   Enter in to dream

Autumn’s POV The Priestess’s words echoed in my ears even as I walked back into the palace, Zane’s hand gently resting on the small of my back. “If you truly want to escape him—if you wish to reduce the pull, the craving, the fear—you must remember. Enter your past life through the dream. Accept what he did to you. Only then can you break what still binds you. temporarily you can escape him till full moon” Her voice had trembled when she said it, as if she herself had once walked through the same torment. I lay on the bed, fingers clenched around the moonstone charm she had given me. I closed my eyes, whispered the incantation, and let the pull of the dream devour me whole. The dream didn’t welcome me—it swallowed me. I stood barefoot on icy stone floors, my breath misting in the air. A sense of dread coiled in my chest. I recognized this place before I even turned my head. The dark castle. A place my soul had buried deep out of mercy. Chains clinked around my wrists. My a

  • Lycan king and his Omega   something is stirring

Autumn’s POV It began with a whisper. Faint. Distant. Like the echo of a memory I never asked to return. I stirred in bed, the silk sheets tangled around my legs, my chest rising and falling in uneven rhythm. The moonlight spilled across the room through the open window, bathing everything in a silver glow. Zane’s scent still lingered in the air—warm, grounding, comforting. He had held me so tenderly the night before, making love to me as if I was the most precious thing in the world. And yet… Something felt wrong. A sudden chill crawled up my spine. My skin erupted in goosebumps. I sat up slowly, pressing a hand against my chest. My heart was racing, not from desire—but from something… else. A weight, heavy and unrelenting, settled on my soul. I closed my eyes, trying to breathe through the unease. Then I heard it again. A soft murmur. My name. Autumn... My eyes flew open. “Who's there?” I whispered, though I knew I’d hear no answer. Except—I wasn’t completely al
