"Can you adjust the glass, please?" Xenia asked, looking around the crowd's.

"Yes, my Luna." The driver answered and did as she told him.

The glass been adjusted gave her a clear view of the auctioning, coupled with voices as a loudspeaker was used for the auctioning.

"So, pretty Anabelle here is my stepdaughter, she is hot and fresh as you can see. And she is going for 100 hundred thousand golden coins." A masculine voice announced, while cheering and laughter follows.

"150 hundred thousand gold coins." Someone said from the crowds.

"Um, that's good, but look at her, she is so fresh, someone up for more?" The stepfather asked.

"I will pay two hundred thousand gold coins for pretty girl Anabelle." An old, croaky voice said.

"Wow, that's pretty good. Anyone up for more?" The stepfather asked and no one replied.

"Then she is all yours, old man." The stepfather said again, and the entire crowd was cheering.

Xenia couldn't take it anymore, she burst the car door opened and goes out of the car.

"Your highness, where are you going to?" Roselyn asked, running after Xenia, who entirely ignored her questions and made her way through the crowds.

She was finally able to stand at the first row, and she saw the helpless Anabelle crying as the old Man who looked disgusting like a rouge started coming closer to her in her possession as the gold coins given by him to Annabelle's stepfather were getting counted.

"Father, please? I will not be stubborn anymore. I will be obedient, please don't sell me off to him, ." Anabelle cried, holding a tall looking aged man leg who Xenia thought to be Annabelle's stepfather as he appears to be.

He pushed her away and dragged her by her hair.

"I told you right, I will sell you off and use the money to get myself a good life. You better start getting ready to live with that old man." He spat and dropped her on the floor painfully making a Tod sound.

Her face was pale, a combination of tears and sweat.

All the screaming, the pleadings, the loud painful cry were echoing through her head and the picture of her past was painted in her presence as Xenia stared at pitiful Anabelle.

The Gold coins were counted successfully and as per tradition, Anabelle has become the pet or the old man and his possession.

He started coming closer and closer to her while she moved back, dragging her body on the rough floor, getting ripped of her skin in the process.

"Please, please!" She begged and finally got on her feet and started running, her hair all over her face and stick to the tears on her face.

She fell on Xenia's front.

Her stepfather came to drag her when Xenia held his hand.

Everyone was shocked as they didn't identify her.

"Stop!" Xenia ordered.

This is her time to act as the Luna, she cannot let Anabelle get sold out like she was sold out years back which resulted to the beginning of all her miseries.

"If you dare lay your filthy hands on her, I swear you will be beheaded." Xenia exclaimed.

The crowds were quiet.

"And who the hell do you think you are to make decisions on behalf of my daughter?" The stepfather asked, staring at Xenia disgustingly.

Anabelle hid behind Xenia.

"She is Luna Xenia, the crowned Luna of Red claw's pack and Alpha Maxwell's mate." Roselyn appeared and immediately, the people present in the auctioning all fell on their feet bowing to her, except the stepfather.

"You are the Luna?" He muttered.

"Yes, I am, and I am commanding you to stop the auctioning, right away." Xenia commanded, her eyes staring firmly into his eyes, and she felt brave like a Queen that she is.

He cackled.

"You being the Luna doesn't give you the right to stop my auctioning. It's part of our tradition and it's not a crime. So, sorry Luna, you cannot stop me. You, come here!" The stepfather said and started dragging Anabelle.

Xenia was getting so angered, and her blood was boiling.

"Roselyn, get Anabelle to the car. Stop them if you can." Xenia dared him, and he knows the consequences of disrespecting the Luna, so he couldn't do, nothing.

"Just wait and watch, our Alpha is a man of tradition, and he will sanction you for what you just did." He spat.

"Yeah, I will love to see him do that." Xenia said and started heading to the car as everyone made space for her to pass while following her with their eyes.

"What about my money! She is mine!" The Old dirty Man yelled.

Xenia paused and turned to him.

"You know where to collect your money from." She replied, and her driver opened the car, she entered.

Roselyn opened the other car, and she made Anabelle entered.

The crowds wanted to do something, but they know they cannot, they only have to watch.

The driver turned on the engine and they zoomed off.

While in the car, Anabelle couldn't stop crying. She looked frightened and timid.

"Don't worry, you are safe with me." Xenia said.

"Thank you for saving me, your majesty. Although I know my stepfather, he will do anything not to lose that amount of money."

Anabelle sniffed.

Xenia smiled at her and wiped her tears.

"If I'm truly the Luna of this pack, I will make sure such terrible tradition in Red claw's pack come to an end. You or any other child will not get auctioned again, for any reason." Xenia stated and looked through the window, thinking of what to do.

The driver droves them to the palace and it seems the news had already circulated in the pack because the Maids in the palace were staring at Xenia with a questioning eyes.

Xenia, Roselyn, together with Anabelle whose clothes was torn made their way into the palace.

"Roselyn." Xenia called.

"Yes, your majesty." Roselyn bowed.

"Take Anabelle to a room, give her new clothes, feed her and make sure she is alright. Anabelle, don't be scared, I will talk to you later." Xenia instructed.

"Your wish is my command, your highness, but can I have a word with you?" Roselyn asked.

Xenia glanced at Anabelle before looking back at Roselyn and nodded.

They moved a bit away from.

"My Luna, are you sure you want to do this? I mean, I don't know how you intend to fight this. Women auctioning had been going on for a while in Red claw's pack. I'm not sure if you can stop that." Roselyn exclaimed, looking a bit worried.

"I also don't know how to do it, Roselyn. But please give me time to think, while doing that, do what I told you to do with Anabelle. I will be at my chamber." Xenia retorted, looking stressed out.

"Yes, my Luna." Roselyn bowed and returned to Anabelle and supported her back with her hands.

"Let's go." She said and Anabelle looked at Xenia and Xenia gave her an assuring smile before they left.

Xenia sighed, thinking about what Roselyn had said to her.
