Chapter 12

Rayne’s POV

Looking around me I saw over a dozen wolves as Reese held me in his arms. Ethan thankfully stopped Kera before she got to me and I was grateful to him. My heart felt full seeing the wolves come to my rescue and I realized they accepted me as one of them. Reese commanded Kera to shift back and she did on his command and I was starting to piece together who Reese truly was after just about every wolf here took orders from him and called him Alpha.

After everyone cleared out and Kera was taken away by two of the men Reese pulled away from me assessing my injuries. “We’re going to have to get you back to the packhouse to get you checked by the pack doctor.” Reese says as he finishes his examination of my body.
