"Charlotte, your hormones are still significantly imbalanced. With the progesterone I have prescribed, there should have been a slight improvement already," the doctor suggested. "But there is none."

"There were only two factors that I could think of. One is body fat, and the other is stress. Since you are losing weight, it is your stress level." Doctor Misha studied her blood test results again and revealed, "Especially since another hormone in her body, called cortisol, had also increased."

"Our body would produce cortisol in response to stress, and having high amounts of it can deplete our ability to produce progesterone," the doctor informed. "Again, Charlotte, you came to me because of your problem conceiving a child. I will do everything to help you, but I can only do so much. You also have to help yourself."
