BAB 48 I Red Cage

Fritz remembers when Jaxon banged on Mia's door at Aurelia Castle several times just to be able to sleep in her room, even when in Mia's private apartment, Jaxon often paced in front of the door, as if hesitant to go inside without her permission in order to sleep  in the same bed as her.

“Oh, Fritz! Your loyalty is to me,” Jaxon muttered, looking annoyed.

Connor patted Jaxon lightly on the back. “I didn't know you were so afraid to sleep outside,” repeated Connor, which drew laughter from the others.

The smell of rose perfume alerted the men there to a woman's presence, as they looked at Brianna Caitlin who had spoken to Jaxon before the betting incident.  The woman was standing by the sofa in a black leather jacket with the 'Property Of Drex' emblem on the back.
