It's about 3 days since I'm living with Janet and Jennifer.

Since then, my wolf has been healing herself as my human body relaxes. And for once feeling safe.

"Hey Janet, I was thinking about something," I ask her, as she gets her famous cookies out from the hot oven.

"Yes, honey?" She answers, looking up at me with a soft smile.

"I want to get a job," I answer nervously, trying not to feel bad.

I don't want to leave, but I should move on with my life.

"Oh perfect, I know the best job you can work on." She replies, holding my hand gently.

Maybe as a nurse or a secretary.

"Like outside the house?" I ask.

"Yes, my son works at his job called 'Sweet Adoption', and you get to pay a lot." She explains as I nodded understanding.

Sweet Adoption?

"Oh great, so where is this job?" I ask, and she smiles.

"Well this small town, has a city next to it where there are buildings and a lot of people." She clarifies, picturing our home area and the city.

I nodded.

This might work. At least I could pay for everything they did for me and Varian.

"I'll take it, but will your son agree with this?" I question.

This guy might be a good guy, but I'm not sure he'll accept it.

"Oh sure, he's a sweetie. I'll call him right now."

"Thank you, I really need a new home and money, so me and Varian can live together. I just don't want to be a burden in your life." I explain the situation of why I was feeling.

I know we just got here, but I want to have a purpose in life. Like working in a job.

"Oh sweetie, it's okay. But it's your decision. Plus we might see each other more often." She nodded understanding, softly smiling.

"Thank you." Giving me a tight hug.

We pull away and thanking her one last time before I head towards Varien.

He was playing with toy blocks on the floor. Throwing and chewing at them.

"Hey, Varien. How's my baby?" I said sitting next to Varian.

"Aaahhh..." He replies as he starts chewing a red toy block.

"Come on Varien, bath time," I answer, lifting him from the ground as he laughs and giggles

First I get the sink ready up with warm water and baby shampoo next to the sink.

And a dry towel.

"Who's my adorable baby?" I ask him, undressing him first from his baby clothes.

"Huuu..."

"You are my little angel."

Gently setting Varien into the warm water in the sink.

"Hey Reyna, me and Jennifer are heading out to buy some groceries. We'll be back soon."

I look up seeing Janet and Jennifer waving goodbye.

"Okay, I'll see you later then. Bye!" I dib goodbye, waving.

"Bye!" They both answer, leaving out the front door and into town.

"Well, it's now you and me," I said, kissing his forehead.

10 minutes later, I finish washing Varien.

I change him into new size baby clothes in our room.

But that's when I hear a knock at the door.

"Uh hello?" I answer, carrying Varien in my arms tight.

As I walk downstairs, I look towards the front door.

After hearing the silence, I hear a man's voice echoing.

"Who are you?!"
