Chapter 11

Good things last a while.

After spending a pretty good time looking at the countryside landscapes: the ocean, the field, the mountainside. Heavy rain poured on us and left us wet like kittens drenched in cold water. We had not brought any umbrellas or jerseys because it was quite sunny and warm a while ago. It could be referred to as beautiful weather.

Drenched wet as we hid at the station looking at the hateful rain splattering on the muddy ground. I began to shiver as the cold air washed over my body. Tanaka noticed this and moved closer. He unexpectedly wrapped his arms around my back and brought me close to his body to the point that l could feel his warmth which was starting to spread to me as well.

I stood stiff as my cheeks start to heat and my heart thumped so loudly as if it would pop out. I inwardly scolded myself to relax.

We stood like that until the bus came.

People were looking at us strangely as if we are aliens that have just descended on earth. If only they know of t
