Chapter 49: Catching up

We waited a few more minutes and finally Steve showed up, he put his window down and apologized, he said he went out to do some shopping too he wanted to contribute he’s ready to come with me. I couldn’t stop smiling as I watched him follow us in the review mirror, I was excited once we arrived. I tried to hurry out of the car to see him, he ran over to the door and lifted me up and put me in the boat,

“Stop trying to jump out of the car already, let me take care of you please.”

My dad and Steve loaded the boat up as my father said he’s goodbyes, he told Steve about a dozen times to take care of us. Steve started the boat up and drove with my directions, he smiled really big when he saw the place.
