Forgotten

DAVON’S POV

Twenty missed calls from Mia and ten from Theo. We were in a hurry this morning and I forgot my phone in my room. It was past midnight when I remembered that I have to call Mia.

The burial took time since the investigation was carry on first. The family of the deceased insist on laying him to rest in spite our advise to give it some time until we solve the case. But who are we to decide.

I called Mia back, but she didn’t pick up, so I presumed that she was already sleeping. The signal was interrupted at the moment. Some of my calls couldn’t get through.
