We walk over to his apartment building as soon as we finish walking. Once we enter the lobby, we stop and stand silently in front of the elevator.

I look at the doors nervously, unsure of what I should do. Should I wait inside with him? Are we supposed to get up to our floor now? Or should I wait outside until he's ready?
