The pack was surely in chaos, the secret was out, our Luna was fake, everyone seemed to have lost trust in me and my family, and that was not my worry.
My worry was her, though she did ruin me by letting everyone know she was my mate. Her voice carried a terrifying finality when she said we would never be bonded.
Surprisingly, it didn´t feel like something I wanted, though the first thing out of my mouth after meeting her was to reject her, for some reason.
“Arnoux the elders are here,” again, there might be a war soon and the only thing these people care about is who I am mated with.
“What do they want?” I grumble.
“They want to talk about you releasing the Luna from the dungeon.”
