Sabrina’s POV

I felt overwhelmed with everything that was happening around me. It all struck without warning, and left me shaken, still no matter how hard I tried, I could not control them.

When I was back in Damon’s room, I had wanted to ask him what would happen in the next two months, but I knew he had skipped that part of his story on purpose. He thought he was protecting me, but it left me restless and unable to sit still.

The only place I could turn to were the library archives. If there were answers to my questions, they had to be hidden somewhere in those endless shelves. And maybe I would stumble on something about my brother… just maybe. I still hadn’t given up hope of finding him.

I freshened up and got into a light flare gown. Then I headed to the library. Nanny Tessa had given me the day off so I could rest, so I had no kitchen duties to distract me. I told myself that my rest would be in books, and maybe in answers.

The library was silent, and of course, as always, the a

  • Sold to the cursed Alpha: The seer   Take cover!

Damon’s POV My throat burned from the screaming, my insides felt scorched as the poison seeped into my veins, eating through flesh and bone like acid.It was excruciating but I held on. I was determined to keep him contained. It has worked for centuries.Until her scent hit us.My wolf surged aggressively. More determined. I had never felt anything like it. He overpowered me with ease, shattering the chains like they were threads. And then he ran to her.He responded to her more than he responded to the pull of the curse. The thirst for her scent eclipsed his thirst for blood. Was this what they meant when they said my mate would be my curse breaker? When the sun rose, the effect of the curse wore off, and control returned to me. I woke up with my head on Sabrina’s lap. She was asleep, curled awkwardly, almost protectively, around me.That was the first time I’d truly rested since the curse was cast. My wolf was quiet, at peace. And even though I hated to admit it—so was I.Now, I st

  • Sold to the cursed Alpha: The seer   Amaria's reckoning

Sabrina’s POVI took a deep breath and moved closer to Danielle, needing clarity. “I don’t know,” I said, shaking my head, the words slipping out twice as if repeating them would make me understand. “I don’t know.”Danielle hummed softly, tilting her head as she looked at me. “That’s too bad,” she said with a curious smile. “Why didn’t Damon tell you? I thought you guys were a thing now.”I felt my face flush instantly. The way she said it, so casually, like it was obvious—made my heart flutter and stumble all at once. “We’re… we’re taking it slow,” I said, rubbing the back of my neck awkwardly. “Just getting to know each other better. We—”Before I could say more, I heard something strange—a hiss. It was faint but sharp enough to make my head snap toward Danielle. She was smiling warmly, eyes soft and kind.Had I imagined it? I blinked, confused. Maybe it was the sound of the kettle or something in the background. I brushed it off and forced a smile back. “Anyway,” I said, pushing pa

  • Sold to the cursed Alpha: The seer   My fight also

Sabrina's POVWhen I watched him walk in, six feet and broad, my restraint broke. “Damon!”I ran to him and my bare feet barely left the cold floor as I threw myself against his chest. Immediately his arms were round me, strong and unyielding, my raging, scattered thoughts were for the first time, gone since I woke up.His scent, his warmth, it put me back on my feet in a kind of way I could not describe.I hid my face in his shoulder, and grabbed fistfuls of his shirt as if he would disappear on me again. “You came,” I said trembling. “You came back.”He pulled me close and his breath fell deep against my hair. “Always.”But as the relief swept over me I noticed the fringes of his garments, and some other dread crept up my throat. I drew away suddenly and took my fingers up his chest, and along his arms, tumbling about. I trembled and attempted to check whether he was bleeding or not.“I am all right,” Damon replied, holding onto my wrists. His voice was gentle but it didn't calm my

  • Sold to the cursed Alpha: The seer   Attack

Damon's POVIt had been two days since I last saw Sabrina, and in those two days I had been useless. Nothing I touched seemed to matter. Reports stacked upon my desk, contracts, letters, petitions, all of it faded away to a meaningless jumble the second my thoughts turned to her. I turned slowly in my swivel chair, where the leather squeaked beneath me, and my head went round faster than I could. My wolf was bristling in impatience, snarling under my skin. Go to her. Stop this. Protect her. All my instincts yelled it. All logic suggested that I should wait, that I should respect her, that I should allow her to make advances to me.The door then was opened, and Nanny Tessa came in first. She was carrying a glass of juice and I could see the worry in her face. Ian followed, and settled in the opposite chair, with that good, exasperating smile of his.“I have good news to tell you, Damon.” He said, too cheerfully.Nanny Tessa, however, looked like she was bearing a storm on her shoulde

  • Sold to the cursed Alpha: The seer   Not for revenge

Damon’s POVI had first smelled her in my sleep. Her familiar sweet and intoxicating scent. I thought it was just another cruel dream, my mind mocking me by constantly replaying the one thing I couldn’t have. I craved her so much that I thought she appeared in my dream. My wolf had taken over, moved by instinct, the primal urge to claim her driving me past reason.I had almost… marked her. Almost sank my fangs into her delicate skin and bound her to me forever. Almost pinned her down and kept her by my side forever. The shame of it burned hotter than whatever was happening to my body. If she hadn’t stopped me… if she hadn’t called my name… I would have done something I could never take back. This…this was exactly why she had to stay far away from me. My cursed, broken self was a danger to her.And now? Tiara? My chest constricted painfully at the sound of her name. Sabrina knew about Tiara. My lips parted, but nothing came out. How much did she know? What had Ian told her? Did she kno
