Chapter 16 - I will kiss you.

Anderson alighted from the car, walking over to her side. He opened the door carefully and she peeped her head out, about to lift herself when he bent over. His right hand slipped under he thigh while his left hand to her back, as he lifted her carefully from the luxury car.

She was consumed by his cologne scent and his rapid breath warming her face, as her body lifted above ground level to mid-air in his arms. Avery stiffened at the strange feeling. This man wanted to get into her pants tonight and she wasn’t going to allow it. If not, why else would he be nice to her so suddenly?

“What are you doing? I can walk by myself,” she tried to wiggle out of his arms but he pressed her closer to his chest, speaking sternly, with an air of amusement.

“If you open your mouth to speak again or try to resist, I will kiss you.”
