Rapunzel

As Noah held me, I couldn’t stop thinking of what my mother had said to me. It meant she had another way of accessing the castle all this while but she had chosen to use my hair without considering if it would hurt me or not –not like it used to hurt terribly but I expected her to care at least.

"We need to leave early," Noah whispered to me. “You have been sitting here for too long. You will get cold,” he added.

I had become numb. My mother really broke my heart. She refused to even recognize that today was my birthday. I was hurt beyond reason and if it wasn’t for Noah’s presence here I would have been the most miserable. She didn’t even stay home with me. She had left me on my birthday-

“Rapunzel, I have so much to show you in the city, we need to leave now!” Noah insisted and in turn to look at him. He was such a good person. Mother had lied to me. The people outside the castle weren’t cruel or wicked. She was the wicked one!

I got up from the bathroom floor and smiled at
