August's POV

It's been two days and I do nothing but stare aimlessly. I learned two things. Don't love. Do not trust. All I wish right now is to gain back my old self. The me that has no feelings. The me that doesn't care. I already stopped crying. It felt like the load had been lifted. Yes, I'm sad but not like before when I felt like I was going to die of pain.

Gen did not fail to visit me. According to her, she made an excuse to my professors. The team is looking for me but Gen did not give any word on my whereabouts. I know I might be crazy but I can't help thinking if Cayden is looking for me. Is he? I guess not, because this is what he wants. I decided to move on. I decided to look for answers. I wanted to go back to earth.

I stood up and went to my closet. I wore just walking pants and a t-shirt. I will go to the town and look for ways to open the portal by doing it legally or not.
