Thinking of escaping

Audrey started to make plans for her escape immediately. She was not going to take chances and be taken across the river to a place she did not know.. one that she could be killed and her body, discarded. She had wondered endlessly how far away they were from the blood moon pack and how it was that she was unconscious until they had reached the shores of the river. When it was towards the evening, one of the men whose voice she was sure she had been hearing came to her and left by her side a plate of food she did not know.
