Why his eyes are so mesmerizing and attractive? Why he seems different to me?

I couldn't tear my eyes away from him, trying to discern if we had crossed paths before. What was it about him that seemed so familiar? Why did my heart race with unknown emotions every time he looked at me? As I watched him intently, I noticed, his gaze unwavering and filled with an unusual enthusiasm as he stared back at me. Those deep eyes seemed, devoid of the lustful intent so prevalent among the others in this auction house. His smile appeared to be tranquil.

am being silly. His presence has already revealed his evilness. He was just silently deriding my plight with his quiet scrutiny.

Every guy here is a rogue, and this attractive one is no exception. They're here merely to acquire submissive bedmates, devoid of any sense of loyalty and devotion to their true mates. They are all beasts.

Suddenly, like a thunderous proclamation from a monarch of old, the booming and arrogant voice of the auctioneer pierced through my thoughts, forcibly pulling me back to reality.

"This stunning beauty is available for one night only at fifty thousand dollars. Who will be the fortunate buyer?"

What? Why did he propose my bid for the night? In this way, by the next day, I will end up here again. How will I plan my escape? I really have bad luck.

Amidst my confusion, I scanned the room, only to find the entire audience on their feet, cheering and clapping fervently, their hungry gazes fixed on me.

Before my turn, the auctioneer under the rouge king's command had presented a few she-wolves, yet never had such raucous hooting echoed for anyone. The uproar was starting to churn my stomach with disgust.

"Rouge king, why insist on such an inflated price for a mere rejected she-wolf, merely for one night's company? What extraordinary qualities does she possess to warrant such attention and value?"

I followed the voice of a plump man seated in the back row, loudly protesting the steep price. My frown deepened as I identified him as Mike Taylor, a notorious womanizer known for his unsavory reputation. He was the gamma of a small pack from the Southern Woods, and his presence only added to my unease.

"Indeed, there are plenty of fish in the sea; why should this rotten one cost an arm and leg?"

A growing crowd joined him in the commotion, while others whistled and laughed spitefully, which only repulsed me further. My veins pulsed with intense anger, but I had no choice other than to console myself.

"She's like a rare diamond, owning a sexy body chiseled for pleasure and release; another plus is her virginity, which will be the cherry on top of an already decadent Sunday. Doesn't that just make it all the more tantalizing?"

The rogue king was despicable and a bastard. When he degraded me with his derogatory remarks, he approached me with an evil smirk on his ugly face. Suddenly, he yanked away my black stole, the only cover that offered some semblance of modesty. I was shocked, and I froze. His sudden action caused me to flinch as I stood nearly naked, subjected to countless lascivious stares, with only my most intimate areas still shielded.

The room again reverberated with raucous applause and sinister laughter, while lascivious gazes bore into my soul, causing me to goosebumps and shutter in shame. I clenched my eyes shut, feeling the weight of tears falling and falling on the floor.

The frenzied escalation of bidding numbers, akin to the roar of a jet hurtling skyward, forced me to reopen my eyes. The assembly resembled a pack of voracious hounds, each fiercely contending for their coveted prize.

"Half a million dollars..."

In disbelief, my eyes widened at the sight of the figure just a few feet from me, being bid on for an exorbitant price, with his green eyes fixed on me. Should I rejoice that he values me so highly?

It appears he surprised even more people here, in particular when another masked man seated next to him leaned in to whisper something in his ear, likely reminding him not to squander his money.

I remained oblivious to what he might have replied or the content of their exchange, as his eyes remained steadfastly fixed on me throughout, while his bidding persisted without pause.

I can't take this chaos any longer. The blinding lights, deafening noise, and countless lustful gazes paired with constant lewd remarks have given me a severe headache, and my vision is starting to blur. I am utterly exhausted and silently begging the moon goddess to help me find a way out of this torment.

"Five million dollars..."

I can't tell if my prayers were answered, but out of nowhere, that green-eyed man, who not only looked wealthy but also seemed unusually eager, dramatically raised the bidding amount to the highest. This move left everyone speechless. I couldn't help but frown again.

It seems the bidder is either hopelessly insane or madly captivated. Both possibilities seem equally implausible. Whether I should laugh or cry at the unpredictable turns my fate has taken?

"Five million! Well, well. Do we have anyone who can top this bid?"

I could hear the auctioneer's greed dripping from his words, and the gleam of avarice in his eyes.

"Five million going once, five million going twice! Does anyone else want to claim this stunning beauty for the night?"

I wanted to scream, feeling like my head would explode as he continued to yell for higher bids.

"Five million, three times..." The auctioneer finally banged the gavel, and I let out a long, weary breath.

At long last, it felt like the nightmare was coming to an end, at least for the night. Yet, just as relief washed over me, the auctioneer resumed his incessant chatter over the microphone about the winner and my new master. At that moment, my weary body reached its limit. Dizziness overcame me, and a shroud of darkness descended upon my vision.

  • The Alpha's Winning Bid   The Luna’s Defiance

Wasting no time, I leapt onto the stage and caught her before she could hit the floor. Swiftly, I draped my trench coat around her, hating to see her exposed in such disgustingly revealing clothes under the predatory stares of the audience.I lifted her into my arms and turned to leave when I felt Marcus's hand clamp down on my shoulder from behind."Big spender, you seem quite eager for this beauty, but remember, she's only yours for one night. Return her by tomorrow."His voice dripped with arrogance, and I loathed every word. "I never share what belongs to me, especially my Luna," I stated, shaking his hand off my shoulder without bothering to look back."Luna?""Marcus Cromwell, who do you think you are, the self-proclaimed king?" I turned to him and removed the black mask that had covered half my face."Jacob Wood?" Marcus mumbled, a frown creasing his brow."Yes, Jacob Wood. From its deepest dungeon, he conducted his illegal operations.Every weekend, he hosted extravagant auctions of lonely and defenseless she-wolves that he had captured. • The Alpha's Winning Bid   Eyes Behind the Mask

I will not put on this repulsive costume," I cried out, struggling against the guards' ironclad grip as they tightened their hold."Put it on now, or suffer the consequences," the mistress of the Rouge King barked, tossing the outfit at my face with a sneer. That is Nora, a notorious slut, often preying on innocent she-wolves like me for the Rouge King's auction house. I couldn't hide my disdain as I glanced at Nora's revealing attire and garish makeup, then eyed the skimpy three-piece lace bikini she was trying to force on me with utter disgust.I felt a surge of hatred within me. The Rouge King captured and auctioned, abandoned and helpless she-wolves to fulfill a beast's sadistic lust, as if we she-wolves have no feelings. I've witnessed numerous prisoners being escorted by guards daily.
